Zach became a monk of the Ramakrishna Order in 2005 and was initiated into Tibetan Buddhism by the Dalai Lama in 2009. He then spent many years working for nonprofit interfaith organizations such as Monks Without Borders, the Philosophical Research Society, and the Council for a Parliament of World Religions. Zach is the author of several books, a contributor to multiple podcasts, and a meditation teacher supporting spiritual seekers around the world.
