This is Erica and thank you for joining me to take two.
In today's take two,
We'll be taking two minutes to breathe.
So begin to bring yourself into a position where you can feel awake and at ease.
Maybe that's seated,
Maybe that's laying down or standing.
The eyes can be open or closed.
And as you settle in,
Simply begin to notice that you are in a body and that body is breathing.
Where are you aware of the breath?
Maybe you're even noticing the temperature of the breath,
The sensations of your inhale and your exhale in your body,
The lifting and lowering of the chest or belly.
Maybe you notice a softening as you exhale and easing of the shoulders and the face.
Just a simple noticing of a breath in and a breath out,
This filling up and this emptying out.
Just a breath in and a breath out.
Noticing now this final inhale and exhale together.
And if your eyes have been closed,
Let them gently open.
