Good morning and welcome to a meditation in cleansing.
This morning we will use the water element to help us aid in our cleansing meditation.
You can find yourself comfortably in a seat or lying down,
Whatever you can sustain for the next several minutes.
Once you find your shape begin to close your eyes.
Allowing the eyelids to become heavy,
The eyes to sink to the back of the skull.
Separating the backs of your teeth,
Allowing the tongue to fall away from the roof of your mouth.
Softening any tension in your neck,
Relaxing the tops of the shoulders,
And sliding the shoulder blades down the back.
Feeling a softening of the belly,
And the grounding of the hips.
Bringing awareness to the tip of your nose as you find your first few rounds of breath.
As you continue to breathe,
Focus on your exhales.
Releasing any stagnant energy from sleep,
Anything that was not digested emotionally during your dream state.
And using the gentleness of your breath,
And the power of the rain element,
We'll continue to breathe,
Continue to release.
Allow this practice to cleanse away anything,
Stress,
Anxiety,
Anger,
Worry.
Let the rain cleanse it all away.
During this cleansing process,
You might feel those emotions swell up.
Use this time to fully feel anything that has been put aside.
Let thegod-fgement come true.
Notice when the mind tries to take you away from this practice as it will always try to do so.
Without any sharp energy,
Any judgment,
Allow yourself to drift and return.
This practice comes from an honest place.
A place of clarity.
Of peace.
And just like the rain nourishes the earth,
Allow your breath to nourish your body.
And just like the rain,
Allow yourself to drift and return.
And just like the rain,
Allow yourself to drift and return.
And just like the rain,
Allow yourself to drift and return.
And slowly start to deepen your breath in a way that brings you back to your space.
You're welcome to continue this meditation.
Remember when you're ready,
Blink your eyes open,
Feeling gratitude for this practice,
Your practice,
This morning.
And just like the rain,
Allow yourself to drift and return.
