A meditation to calm and cool the Pitta Dosha.
Pitta's elements are water and fire and in excess it creates heat in our minds which then shows up as anger,
Irritation and control.
In order to cool down Pitta we will be using a mantra meditation.
Begin by closing your eyes and finding a comfortable seat or lie down.
Softening the muscles of the face,
Relaxing the jaw,
Letting the shoulders slide in and down the back.
Softening your mid abdomen and feeling your hips grounded.
Our mantra meditation will be,
I release control and surrender to the flow of love that is healing.
As you breathe in I release control.
As you breathe out and surrender to the flow.
As you breathe in of love,
Breathing out that is healing.
I release control and surrender to the flow of love that is healing.
I release control and surrender to the flow of love that is healing.
Continue to repeat this silently in your head or if you feel called to out loud.
Breathing out your belly,
Softening and receiving space.
