Welcome to day two.
Thank you for being here.
So today we're going to be thinking about safety,
But not just thinking about safety like,
Okay,
Lock the door.
I'm talking about the feeling that you're safe,
The feeling that we are well.
This is a really important thing because not feeling safe is anxious.
It brings on fear.
That's a really big deal,
But look around you.
Here you are in this moment.
You're perfectly safe.
You're fine.
So I want you to touch that.
I want you to feel that and let yourself come to the place where you reassure yourself,
I am safe.
I want you to experience the feeling of safety.
How does it feel to be safe?
Probably calm and relaxed and at peace and like everything's okay.
So I want you to get to that place.
Take a few moments.
Take a few minutes.
Sink into the feeling of safety right now in this moment.
Nothing needs to be done.
Everything is fine.
I am safe.
That's your job today.
Come back to that feeling of safety several times during the day.
Don't forget to write in your workbook,
Of course.
And again,
Come back to that feeling of safety during the day.
Bring your mind back to it,
Especially at times where you start to feel anxious or concerned or whatever,
All that your mind is spinning and you're not having a pleasant time.
Stop and look around.
Check yourself.
If you're safe,
I hope you're safe.
Remind yourself I'm safe.
And then touch that feeling again.
Come back to that feeling.
Remember how it feels.
Bring it again to mind.
The feeling of being safe.
Okay,
That's your job today.
See you soon.
