300 hr YTT Training Retreat
November 5 - 9, 2026
Peoria, AZ, United States
Hosted By
4 nights, 5 days
10 person retreat
Highlights
Led by Lana Royce, E-RYT 500 with 25+ years teaching & a licensed psychotherapist of 30+ years — clinical depth few YTTs offer.
Trained by a Master's-level Counselor (St. Mary's University), not just a yoga teacher — nervous system science meets sacred practice.
Module 1 dives into somatic anatomy, real body mechanics & nervous system regulation — not just poses and sequencing.
60 hours of built-in specialization (Yin, Nidra, Trauma-Informed, Sound Healing & more) — find your lane, not a checklist of certs.
Hybrid model: 2 live virtual Zoom intensives + a 5-day immersive retreat at a private Arizona estate, not a hotel conference room.
Small, intimate, on-site-hosted experience — Lana & Mark personally live on the property and hold space for every guest.
Lana brings Reiki, Healing Touch, Sound Healing (Yoga Nāda), and Yoga Nidra into the curriculum — energy work, not just anatomy.
Focus on presence over performance: awareness, safety & emotional attunement before intensity or advanced asana.
Faith-based, heart-centered container designed for teachers wanting depth and self-trust — not just more hours toward 500hr.
Details
Nestled in the Sonoran Desert of Peoria, Arizona, Blisstopia Retreats is a private, faith-based sanctuary where "the desert meets the divine." This isn't a hotel conference room training — it's an intimate, luxury estate designed for slowing down, softening, and remembering who you truly are, framed by breathtaking desert sunsets and quiet, sacred grounds. Module 1: The Body & The Field is for 200hr-certified teachers ready to go beyond sequencing and poses. Our intent is simple: refine how you experience and respond in real time — not just what you know. You'll move from cueing out of memory into teaching from presence, learning to read the body, recognize nervous system responses, and hold space for what arises in a room without shutting it down or overstepping. You'll leave with tangible benefits: a deeper understanding of somatic anatomy and nervous system regulation, skills in therapeutic and adaptive sequencing, breathwork and energetic awareness practices, and the beginning of your own specialized teaching lane (Yin, Restorative, Trauma-Informed, Sound Healing, and more — 60 hours of specialization woven into the module). What makes this training unmatched is who's holding it. Lana Royce is not just a master yoga teacher (E-RYT 500, 25+ years) — she's a licensed psychotherapist of over 30 years with a Master's in Counseling and Psychological Services, a Reiki Master, Healing Touch practitioner, and Sound Healing guide. Her teaching blends clinical wisdom with spiritual depth, so this training is lived and embodied, not theoretical. As on-site, live-in trustees, Lana and Mark personally welcome and hold every guest — this is their full-time calling, not a side gig, so you're met with a high-touch, deeply personal level of care rare in teacher trainings. Blisstopia is a Private Membership Association that welcomes all, with no judgment, no expectations, and nothing "perfect" required — just a willingness to come as you are and go deeper.

All meals are lovingly included throughout your training — and they're mostly vegetarian-style, Ayurvedic-inspired, and made with love by our own Ayurvedic-trained chef, Lana (yes your teacher trainer is your chef too), right on-site. Expect fresh, organic, colorful, and often gluten-free ingredients across every meal, thoughtfully curated to nourish your body as deeply as the training nourishes your practice. Mornings might greet you with steel-cut oatmeal topped with berries and house granola, farm-fresh eggs from our own free-range chickens, or avocado toast piled high with sprouts and seasonal veggies. Midday brings vibrant, energizing lunches — think quinoa and black bean buddha bowls, soba noodle salads loaded with crisp vegetables, or jerk-spiced cauliflower tacos. Evenings settle into comforting, chef-crafted dinners like tomato-braised veggie pasta, stuffed portobello mushrooms, or hearty grain bowls paired with massaged kale salads and fresh sides — with light, mindful desserts like baked cinnamon apples or a square of dark chocolate to close out the day. Every dish is prepared with intention — designed to feel like an extension of the healing work you're doing on your mat. It's no wonder our guests consistently rave about the food in their Google reviews, often calling it one of the most memorable parts of their stay. Come hungry, leave nourished — in every sense of the word.
