A five-minute meditation to check in with self. Using body scan and breathwork meditation. A great morning or evening meditation. Also, a good meditation to use if you are having a stressful moment. This meditation will help bring you into the present moment.

Hello and welcome to this five-minute body scan meditation to calm your nerves to put you in that present mindset getting into a seated position with the spine elongated taking in three cleansing breaths breathing in through the nose and then slowly exhaling breathing in and as you exhale feeling your body get more comfortable in this seated position knowing that you are safe and taking in the last breath slowly exhaling placing one hand on your heart center the center of the chest and the other hand on the upper abdomen the solar plexus this is your power center taking in a nice deep breath and as you exhale draw your attention to the top of your head taking in a nice deep breath nice and slow and slowly exhale and as you exhale check in with the face,

The eyelids,

The nose,

The lips,

The chin,

Feeling it all relax as you exhale breathing in and as you exhale feel the neck and the shoulders relax taking in another deep breath nice and slow as you exhale feeling the spine and the chest relax taking in a breath and as you exhale feel the stomach and the muscles surrounding just relax taking in a nice deep inhalation and then exhale feeling the hips,

The pelvic floor relax traveling to the thighs and the knees relaxing one last deep breath breathing in and then as you slowly exhale feel the shins,

The calves,

The ankles relax and feel the relaxation engulf the bottoms of the feet taking in one last deep breath and right here I want you to hold,

Hold for just a moment grab any energy that is stuck or any places that feel uncomfortable as you exhale imagine that you are releasing that stress or that anxiety from that space let's do another breathing in hold right here,

Grab that energy and then exhale and then last one,

Breathing in and hold grabbing that energy and then slowly release and sit in this moment feeling relaxed,

Feeling ready to take on the day or ready to take a nap placing the palms of the hands together bringing it up to the face,

Giving yourself a nice face massage rubbing the neck,

The shoulders and then when you're ready you can open your eyes thank you for being here and taking this moment with me have a beautiful day,
