I'm Robert Changchopp.
This is Heal with Self Love,
A guided meditation about healing with love from your heart.
We begin by bringing our attention to our body.
Just become aware of your body,
Your whole body.
Notice what's happening with your body.
Notice if there's any movement.
If you're twitching or tapping a finger,
Moving around.
It's okay to move.
Just noticing.
Just becoming aware.
If your body is very still,
You can notice very subtle movements.
Movements like your breath.
Movement of your chest and your abdomen as you breathe.
Just notice the movement maybe of your digestive system.
You may even notice movement of your feet.
Just notice those movements.
And see if you can notice the stillness that's behind those movements.
The stillness from which those movements arise.
It's a deep inner body stillness.
See if you can notice that.
See if you can be aware of that inner stillness.
First there's stillness and out of stillness movement arises.
Now bring your attention to any sound or noise in your mind.
An inner voice.
A voice in your head.
Just notice that.
Just be aware of that inner voice.
Notice the silence behind that inner noise.
See if you can notice the silence from which the noise arises.
First there's silence and from that noise arises.
Now bring your attention to the space around you.
Notice the space of the room you're in.
Just become aware of that space.
Notice the space that your body occupies.
Just be aware of that space.
Notice the space inside your body.
The inner space.
See if you can become aware of the inner space.
It can help to bring your awareness to your heart center.
With your attention on the heart center,
Also notice at the same time your breath.
Just be aware of your breath as you breathe in and out.
You're just being aware of the breath.
You're not trying to control or manipulate in any way.
Imagine that your breath is coming in through the heart center.
Imagine that you're breathing through the heart center.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
As you continue to breathe in through the heart center,
See if you can imagine feeling more love than you have ever known.
Imagine you're just being loved for who you are.
Being loved just for existing.
You don't have to do anything for this love.
You don't have to earn it in any way.
It's just pure unconditional love.
All your shortcomings,
Your lack of self-esteem,
Physical perfection,
Social or economic status,
None of that matters.
No one can take this love away.
It will always be here.
See if you can imagine that.
Imagine that being in this love is like relaxing endlessly in a warm bath.
It surrounds you and supports your every movement so that every thought and feeling is permeated by this love.
Feel as if you are dissolving into love.
This love is actually part of you,
Is always flowing through you.
It is you.
This is your deeper heart.
This is your intuitive heart.
A place where higher mind,
Pure awareness,
Subtle emotions and your spirit identity all come together and you connect to the universe where presence and love are.
Unconditional love exists in each of us.
It's part of our deep inner being.
Love is not so much an act of emotion as a state of being.
Try to rest in that feeling of love as you continue to breathe through the heart.
Allow that feeling of love to just permeate through you,
Through your whole body,
Permeate through your mind.
Now imagine if you could share that love with others.
Others who could really use some love.
Maybe victims of war,
Victims of poverty,
Beings who are ill,
Suffering from disease.
Imagine being able to share some of this love with them.
Continue to breathe through the heart as you mentally share this love.
If it helps,
You can imagine this love in the form of light emanating from your being,
From your body,
Towards these beings who are suffering.
It could be any beings you want to share this love with.
Beings who are suffering from trauma,
From abuse.
It could be animals.
Whatever speaks to you.
See if you can share this loving feeling with those beings that need it most.
Now see if you can stretch your heart even a little more by sharing this love with all beings.
Love in the form of light.
All beings in some way,
At some time,
Struggle with life.
Struggle with illness,
Loved ones that die.
Life can be a struggle.
Share that love with all beings.
If you're feeling quite brave,
You can extend and stretch your heart even more by considering those beings that cause war,
Are filled with hate,
Aggression,
And violence.
See if you can share love with them.
Being filled with hate and violence is not a happy state.
And now,
Once again,
Extend that love to all beings.
To everyone.
To all of the animal beings,
To all of human beings,
To the invisible beings.
And now let go of any thoughts around this meditation.
Let go of any visualization.
You can keep your attention in the heart center and just rest in the space.
Rest in the space you've created in your heart.
Rest in the space around you.
The space of the room that you're in.
Rest in the space beyond the room.
And as we bring this meditation to a close,
We can share any benefit that might have come from this to all beings.
And just mentally finish our meditation with that aspiration to share.
