Raja Yoga is connection with the Divine. But before you can connect with the Divine, You have to know yourself. That we are the energy in the centre of the forehead. It's the energy in the centre of your forehead that gives you life. It is your life energy. And if we don't know that, We're what we might call body conscious. We can be extremely body conscious or we can begin to educate ourselves into becoming aware that we are energy and that this energy runs the body. It's the energy like the electricity for life. And once I know how I work, I can understand that other energy. When we become more and more focused and concentrated, Because when I learn to focus my energy here, Then I have an abundance of energy to do what I wish to do. So you could begin with making a list of the things you have to be grateful for. And when experiencing gratitude and appreciation, You're more open to experiencing love. When there's rejection and expectation, It's difficult to experience love. And the same applies in my relationship with the Divine. My next experiment would be to explore your identity as a spiritual being, The inner being. So instead of being boxed in by the physical identity, Where my thoughts will definitely be scattered all over the world. I mean, There's times to think of the world. But more and more I have to train myself if I want to get the power back in my own energy. My own energy has its capacity for absolute power. But it's all broken up. It's everywhere. It's in relationships, It's in worries, It's in my work, It's in the weather, It's in worry about the future, It's in money, It's in health, It's in everything. So my thoughts are everywhere. My thoughts are not here. So I'm nowhere. Which is why we feel sad, We feel disempowered, We feel lonely, We feel ill, We feel weak, We feel everything. Because I'm not here. And the soul in the centre of the forehead is you. And you have all the power, But it's scattered everywhere. Your soul energy is scattered everywhere. To the whole world, Everywhere. All your friends, Relatives, How you look, How you feel, How much money you have, What your job's like, What the future holds, What your past was, What the terrible things people did to you, How you hate them or you love them or you miss them or your heart's broken. That's where your energy has gone, That's where your thoughts have gone, That's never come back to here. Now, Raja Yoga's teaching me to gather my energy back into the centre of the forehead, Even for a few minutes a day. Which is why we say meditation. We're talking about the divine now as a being of light. The energy of that one is so powerful that that one can re-empower every single soul on the planet, Including all the elements, A nature, Everything. Because that soul is focused only on their own energy. The fact they're never physical. They're never physical, They don't have a job, They don't worry about money, They don't worry about no health because there's no body. So, God is a being of light, When I see myself as a being of light, I'm on the same wavelength and then I can connect. So, When I can then connect to the divine radio transmitter and sending a message, But if my receiver is tuned to a different wavelength, My health, My job, My friends, My relatives, My worries, My past, My future, Then I can't tune in. You have to tune in to your receiver to the right frequency that you're the energy here in the centre of the forehead. So, Let me be in tune and that means let me come into a spiritual awareness of my own identity. So, First has to be my identity before I even think that I want to be tuned into a higher identity. I have to get used to my own frequency, So tune into unlimited love and divine love. It's not every day people talk about these things, Hardly ever, Hardly ever. Be so curious about yourself. We had a class this morning which was saying that we're all actors. If you could see yourself maybe as an actor. Now, An actor needs a script, It needs to have strength to play the role, Play as different characters, Different costumes, And usually it's a focus of attention because it's on a stage, So there's a lot of self-respect and dignity in having the strength to play the part. When we see ourselves as an actor and think that I want to be like a sort of grumpy actor or a tired actor or a fed up actor or I've got no energy or. . . No, We want to be a hero actor. So, For that I need to know where to get my energy from and for Rajyoga Meditation again, Be curious about yourself. Find out, I mean we know about our feet and our legs and our arms and our heads and basically a bit about our health and we know who are our friends and who are our relatives and we know our past, We don't need to keep going there. Our future, Our future's in our own hands according to what we do, Our present. Let me be curious enough to be an explorer and see what could I do for me that would be the best. It wouldn't just be the best for you, It would be the best for everyone around you, It would be affected by your energy changing to your power in the centre of the forehead. It definitely has an impact. So, Rajyoga Meditation, It means you set aside of your determined some time to find out the good qualities that are in yourself. You know, Look at gratitude, But I would say for absolute definite you have so many good qualities inside you but you take them for granted and you haven't really highlighted them as such. And so if you were to look you might see that you have got masses of good qualities so all you have to do is put power into them and then they'll start to lift you up. Your own energy that's already there. But it hasn't got the power, Why hasn't it got the power? Because I'm not there half the time, Most of the time, Nearly all the time. I'm not there, I'm everywhere else. And so my virtues, My strengths, My compassion, My love which we all really have in us and we want so much because there's no power. But the virtues and the strengths are all there. We don't like to say that they don't have power, We feel it would be weak, We think I have got power but we haven't, We've got physical power. But the battery, We're forgetting to charge that big time enough that we're starting to really feel that we are the energy that our thoughts would go to there, Go to there and then I'll do what I need to do. I am a soul. Raja Yoga is teaching me to be soul conscious. Up until now we've been extremely, Extremely, Extremely body conscious. Our thoughts have gone to the pain, The relationship, The agony, The past, The future, The money. What will I do? The illness, Oh, Rather than the power. I need the strength to look at, To see, To cope, To decide, To make decisions and I'll find I'll act so differently. And remember you're an actor, You need power to play your part, You want to play a good role. So if I think like this, If I want to understand things, If I want to make my brain work better, I need energy here. If I want to have a look at my overall health, I need to have common sense to know what to do with it. So I need energy, I need power and we've all got masses of good qualities, For definite, Absolutely for definite. How many of you here feel that you have compassion, Love? Just put your hand up for all of them. Passion, Love, Kindness, Friendliness, All of these things. Courage, Who's got courage? Who's curious? Who has curiosity? Who wants to explore? So you see you have all the qualities, So all you have to do is start seeing that these belong to you and who would admit that all the quality is there but there's no power? Who would admit there's no power under these qualities? The physical power that we have we call is ego power and the spiritual power that we need to develop is called soul power, Which has no ego. Without ego it's self-worth, Self-knowledge, Self-information, Self-strength. It's the energy that keeps us alive. So I don't need ego for that, I just need to keep reminding myself that that's who I am. And the spiritual power that we need to develop is called soul power, Which has no ego.
