Taking our way into a comfortable seated position.
And then just gently softening our gaze.
And closing our eyes.
Coming to notice your breath here,
Exactly as it is.
Just noticing what comes up here.
And then just letting them float by.
As we take an inhale here,
We quietly say to ourselves,
Breathing in,
I'm thankful for my breath.
Breathing out,
I am calm.
Breathing in,
I am thankful for my breath.
Breathing out,
I am calm.
Breathing in,
I am thankful for my breath.
Breathing out,
I am calm.
Just continuing to quietly,
Very mindfully,
Saying this as you breathe in and as you breathe out.
