Hello.
This is a grounding meditation to help you reclaim your power and take your power back.
So just sit comfortably in a chair where your feet can touch the floor.
And just start to take some breaths however they feel good for you.
On the inhalation just allow your body to just gently expand without forcing it.
And on the exhalation just allow your body to release.
And don't force the breathing.
Just almost allow your body to breathe you.
And feel the expansion throughout your whole body.
And the release throughout your whole body.
I'm just going to invite you to sink deeper into your chair.
Allow your muscles to just start to begin to release as you relax into your space.
And we tend to keep a lot of tension in various places of our body.
Our shoulders,
Our neck,
Our lower back,
Our hips,
Our thighs,
Our calf muscles,
All the way down any place.
And so if you get a sense of any tightness in your body you're just going to invite it to release just a little bit.
Again without pressure,
Without striving.
I'm just an invitation to relax and release.
And as you're breathing and feeling your body in the chair and your feet on the floor,
I'm just going to focus on the base of our spine,
Where our tailbone is.
And just invite that to relax and release a little bit.
If you bring your awareness to that spot you almost might feel your hips start to relax and release a little bit.
And we'll go from there.
Work our way down through our hips and our pelvic region,
The seat,
Our thighs.
And as we bring our awareness to these parts of our body,
We're just inviting them to release and relax a little bit.
And keep breathing.
Without forcing it,
You almost might feel like your body's breathing you.
And we'll work our way down to our calf muscles and invite them to relax and release.
And as we move down to the soles of our feet,
We're just going to invite the energy center in the middle of each of our soles of our feet to open up.
You bring your awareness to your right foot and then bring your awareness to your left foot.
And as you bring your awareness to each sole,
You might feel a tingling or warmth.
And we're just going to allow them to open and start to connect with Mother Earth.
And you may feel a flow downward,
Releasing some of the tightness in your being as it flows down your body and down your legs and out the soles of your feet.
And you may feel a flow upwards as the energy from Mother Earth comes up through the soles of our feet and starts to move up our being.
And again,
We're not forcing anything.
We're just inviting these beautiful living energies,
These vital energies to come in and do their work without guiding or forcing.
You may start to feel a pulsing or a tingling sensation or warmth throughout your whole being.
And that's the living energies doing their work.
And as we start to settle in a little bit deeper,
We're just going to call all our energy back into our being without forcing it.
Just to invite anywhere our thoughts are,
Whether it's a particular person or situation or something that's happened in the past or something you're projecting in the future.
We're just going to invite that energy to come back into our being,
Back through our crown chakra,
The top of our heads.
Just let it start to settle down our body into our root chakra,
The base of our spine,
Our tailbone.
Allow your connection with Mother Earth to continue to deepen.
As your roots go down,
Meander around and find the way to the crystalline core of Mother Earth.
We're going to continue to invite our energy back into our being.
So if you're still thinking about a particular person or a situation or conversation,
Or again,
Projecting into the future,
Just inviting that energy back into your being.
And this is how we take our power back.
Because giving our energy over to someone or something else that we really have no control over is giving our power away to that person,
That situation,
That thing,
That past event,
That potential future event.
And as you draw your energy back,
You reclaim your power.
Start to feel your being drop deeper into the chair.
Feel your feet sinking deeper into Mother Earth.
You may start to feel a beautiful rhythmic pulsing,
Or you may just feel a tingling or a warmth sensation.
You may just start to feel really relaxed.
Whatever you're feeling is absolutely perfect.
So we're just going to stay in this space.
Keep breathing.
Feel that beautiful,
Gentle expansion on the inhalation.
Beautiful,
Gentle release on the exhalation.
As the living energies are moving through us,
Up through our feet,
Down through our crown,
Fountaining out around our beings,
Swirling around us,
Moving through us.
We're just going to breathe and continue to relax into this.
And this is something you'll begin to notice more and more throughout your day.
As your energy goes out,
You start to give your power away to someone else,
Something else.
You just notice it.
You can catch yourself,
Like,
No,
I'm going to draw my energy back into my being.
See how fast your consciousness can shift in those moments from being angry or upset or aggravated about someone or something else that you can't control.
As soon as you bring that energy back into your being,
Notice the shift.
Notice the grounding,
The calming,
The quiet that can take place as a result.
And the more you notice that happening throughout your day,
The more you bring it back,
Your energy back into your being.
You'll start to become more automatic.
And eventually you'll notice the little things that used to frustrate you or upset you or activate you in some way,
Just don't anymore.
Because your being now knows that it doesn't have to give its energy over,
Its power over to anyone or anything else.
And as it starts happening with smaller things,
You'll eventually notice it's happening with bigger things.
Things that maybe once seemed like a crisis,
No longer are.
Because now your being knows not to give its energy over,
Its power over to anyone or anything else.
So we're just going to continue to breathe.
And just continue to let our energy return to our being.
Let the living energies continue to move through us and around us.
As we continue to sink in,
Drop deeper into our being and our connection with Mother Earth and living energies.
End this meditation now,
