Hey there,
Beautiful soul.
I am so pleased that you have taken this time to pause and to connect back to self.
And so I acknowledge you for doing just that.
I invite you now,
Wherever you are,
If you're sitting on a chair,
To just feel like you could settle into the seat.
Or if you've chosen to lay down feeling as though your body could dissolve into the support that upholds your physical body here.
Softly close the eyes down.
And then gently bring your awareness into your body breathing.
First just notice the breath coming into the body on the inhale.
And leaving the body on the exhale.
Then start to slowly deepen your breath.
This idea of feeling your lungs more completely as you breathe in.
And then exhale,
You might even let out a little sigh.
And repeating that a few more times.
Breathing in,
Arriving into the fullness of your lungs.
Then exhaling out of the mouth,
Allowing the breath to completely escape out of the body.
One more time,
Inhaling slowly,
Feeling the ribcage expand up and out to the sides.
And exhaling out when you're ready.
And then just start to feel as though you could now soften into your breathing.
While still allowing your breath to be steady,
Rhythmic.
Feeling the depth and the width of your breath slowly growing.
And as you continue to explore this rhythm and depth to your breathing.
I invite you to place your focus now at the sternum.
The centre of the chest.
As though you could now allow your awareness to slowly travel within the body underneath layers of skin.
So this experience of the breath for you is felt on a visceral level.
With your awareness gently resting at the sternum,
Notice if there is any sensation or subtleties arriving in your body as you breathe.
Keeping that relaxed awareness around that area of the sternum,
The upper abdomen.
And you might even choose to place one or both of your hands there on the upper abdomen and the sternum.
And with your mind's eye gently beginning to visualise now as though there was a steady flame of light blowing within you.
There at the very core of you,
The centre of you,
Just beneath your hands.
And as you breathe,
As you allow your breath to grow.
Your breath seems to allow this light,
This ball of energy and warmth to also expand.
Slowly,
Slowly with each breath.
And this light of energy is your internal light of awareness.
That which can never be dimmed or put out.
This light,
This warmth,
Holds,
Encapsulates your true essence of loving awareness.
Of strength,
Sovereignty,
Kindness,
Wisdom.
And as you explore this depth to your breathing,
Feeling as though this warmth that exudes out from this internal light of awareness that is you.
Feeling as though it can now start to move more through the body.
Downward,
Down towards the lower abdomen.
The pelvis.
Down the legs slowly,
Slowly to the feet.
As though this warmth holds you at the soles of your feet.
And the warmth also travels upwards.
It wraps itself lovingly around the ribs,
The torso,
The shoulders,
The arms all the way down to the palms of your hands and fingertips.
Seeing this glistening light and warmth travel through the neck,
Across the face,
Every corner of the face,
The head.
Feel the warmth hold the back of your body as well.
Take a moment to just bask in this warmth.
In your own glistening vibrancy of light.
As though your breath could merge with this light and warmth.
As though the breath and your internal light of awareness now take on a harmonic dialogue with each other.
And now starting to feel this warmth expand out to the very surface of your skin.
As though this warmth wants to slowly,
Gently exude out through the pores of your skin and outwards into the space around you.
And as the breath merges with this warmth,
This internal light of awareness,
Now as you breathe,
Breathing in,
It's like you were breathing in through the pores of your skin and your whole body expands,
Allowing this warmth to expand out,
A little out away from the body.
And then exhale,
So the body gently contracts,
Softly condenses.
And so with each breath sensing into this expansion and contraction,
As you feel this warmth start to slowly move out away from the body into the space and the field around you,
Your own energetic field.
And you start to visualize or feel that field slowly growing above you to the sides and behind you as you feel your breath,
Lovingly molding and shaping this field.
Not only are you breathing here within your physical body,
But you're also breathing into the energetic space around you,
Into your auric field.
This sense of taking up space,
Of expanding that loving awareness from within externally out.
And then feeling that contrast of exuding out,
Expanding into that fullness and owning that fullness of you with each inhale whilst also softening and releasing and trusting on the exhale as you release the breath out and you soften into your own light.
This light is yours to hold always.
This light,
This essence of internal peace and calm wisdom,
Strength is shared with every other being.
When you start to embody this light within you,
When you own your own internal light of awareness,
You allow others to witness that and you allow others the permission to be that in themselves too.
Ever so gently as you stay with that expansion out through all directions of your auric field,
Start to just slowly feel your awareness zone back gradually,
Gradually closer towards your physical body.
As you then slowly bring that awareness back underneath layers of skin,
Back towards the sternum,
The upper abdomen.
Understanding your breath.
And though you feel the fullness of you there around your body in your field,
You also feel very grounded and anchored within at your very core.
And you establish that healthy bridge within you and around you.
And so as you now prepare to move back into your day or into your evening,
I invite you now dear one to stay with this connection,
A connection to yourself,
To your truth,
To your internal essence and allow that to expand out into your experience,
Into your day,
Into all that you be.
And so when you feel ready,
Slowly beginning to turn the head from side to side,
Bringing some soft soothing movement into the fingers and the toes,
Feeling the energy and aliveness of you.
Take a slow deep breath in and a complete exhale out.
As you then gradually blink the eyes open and move back into your day.
And rest.
