Welcome to this guided gratitude practice.
I'm Sabrina Amino.
Find an easy seat,
Perhaps sitting up or lying down and begin to connect with the breath,
The incredible breath that guides you through your life.
If you like,
Place your hands over your heart and feel your heartbeat.
As you bring awareness to the breath,
Imagine sending a loving breath to your heart space.
Take a deep breath in and exhale.
Imagine being surrounded by a sense of peace,
Calm,
A sense of safety,
Knowing that in this moment all you have to do is be.
Take a deep breath in and release.
As you continue to follow your breath,
Bring to mind all of the incredible gifts that surround you every day.
And perhaps there are quite simple things that we don't pay much attention to,
Like our fingers and toes,
Our mobility,
Our thoughts,
The company of those we love,
Being able to access joy and laughter,
A cool breeze on a warm day.
And as you call to mind all the little things in your life that make it rich and blessed,
Continue following that magic breath,
Following the inhale and the exhale,
Knowing that each breath guides you through life,
Knowing you are worthy,
Knowing you are loved,
Knowing you are safe and guided and protected at all times.
Take a deep breath in,
Breathing in gratitude and exhale.
When you feel ready,
You can ease into a restful sleep or continue your day with this sense of gratitude and abundance.
