In it, I guide you through a gentle process to go inward through paying attention to your breathe and sensations in your body. You will come out of meditation feeling warm, connected and grounded.

Welcome to your daily meditation.

You can do this meditation at any time in the day,

In the morning when you're just getting going as a way to start your day off on the right foot or at any point in time as you go throughout your day and you need a little bit of support and guidance.

Today we're going to be going inward to visit our inner world and find something that we might need some help with.

This could be some healing work that you want to do,

Could be some inner wisdom that you've been searching for or could use.

It could just be to center yourself in a really good feeling so that you can be in a really great place the rest of your day.

So I want you to find a space where you're comfortable.

Can be sitting on a chair or on the floor or even laying down in a bed.

You can be by yourself or in a busy place or even outside.

It doesn't matter.

You always have the power to let go of external distractions and come within yourself,

Paying attention only to the wonderful,

Healing,

Welcoming space that we all have within ourselves.

I want you to start by closing your eyes and really getting in touch with your body.

You might feel yourself settling in to the object that you're sitting or laying on.

You might feel your eyes getting heavier and heavier as they close more solidly.

You might find yourself becoming aware of your breath or even maybe your heartbeat.

This wonderful body that you've been given that automatically does the business of breathing for you without any thought,

No work or effort from you to make your heartbeat or the oxygen move through your bloodstream,

No effort needed from you to continue breathing.

And yet how powerful is it when we are able to bring conscious thought and attention to our breath and to our body,

Connecting our mind,

Spirit and body in focused alignment for a brief period of time every day?

And I don't know whether you prefer to breathe through your nostrils or your mouth,

But whichever,

Just take a moment to feel the temperature of the breath coming into your body and the temperature of your breath as it leaves your body.

Feel yourself slowing down,

Leaving behind any and all of the concerns of the outside world.

If it's helpful,

You can put them in an imaginary basket and just set the basket aside with all of your external botherations and distractions,

Knowing they'll be waiting for you after you've given yourself this very special time.

I want you to take a very deep breath and let it go.

We're going to do that two more times just because it felt so good.

We're going to breathe through our nose and out our mouth,

Making a slight ha sound in and out.

And one last time in and out.

You feel yourself relaxing completely.

And as you've relaxed completely,

I invite you to turn your attention inward and just see where the natural inclination of your imagination takes you as you turn inward.

You might have a specific place that you visit often.

You might visit a new place.

And I don't know if this place is somewhere in your head or somewhere in your chest or even someplace in your belly.

I invite you to just sit in the stillness and the silence that you find in that place.

And if you might have found that space outside of your own body,

I want to give you an invitation.

Just slowly incorporate that space outside of your body someplace into your body.

Your heart space is always a nice place to work from.

I would invite you into your heart space if that seems helpful.

And so wherever you found yourself,

Just accept that you're in the exact inner space to do some really amazing work today with yourself,

Getting rejuvenated in just the perfect way.

So as you sit in that space,

I invite you to visualize a really bright,

Warm light,

This ball of light just sitting in that inside space.

Imagine the color that it might be,

Whatever color visits you today.

Just know it's the perfect color for you.

Just know you don't need to be attached to any particular meaning or relevancy of the color.

Just be in that color,

That feeling of warmth that emanates from that ball,

Really incredibly warm,

Comforting light.

And I don't know today if you need a little extra guidance and wisdom,

Whether it might be healing and comfort or whether it might just be simply an uplifting boost to your mood.

Whatever it is that you need to make today a little greater,

It's waiting here for you to claim in this ball of light.

As you concentrate on this ball of light,

I want you to feel it moving,

Spreading through your entire system,

Just as your blood circulates oxygen through your system.

This bright,

Wonderful,

Comforting,

Warm,

Ever-knowing healing light circulating through your system,

Through all the atoms and cells in your body.

You can almost imagine a little smiley face on each of the cells as they move through your body with this warm light.

Just feel it spreading incredible,

Powerful light through your system.

Feel it moving to your extremities,

Through your arms and fingers,

Down through your legs,

To your knees,

Your toes,

And that's when it's filled your entire system.

You might even be able to feel it emanating out around you,

This great,

Beautiful ball of light surrounding your entire body,

Maybe even the object that you find yourself on today,

Surrounding everything around you.

Just sit for a minute in this wonderful,

Comforting feeling of being surrounded with light and see what special gift the light has for you today.

It could be something that you feel,

Some sort of botheration or ailment melting away,

Being cleansed with the light.

It could be some sort of inner knowing or wisdom that you gain will help you some way through your day today.

It could be a really great feeling of just knowing that you're absolutely perfect just the way you are and that everything is always working out for you.

And as you receive that special gift for yourself from yourself,

You might notice the light spreading even more,

For when we take the time for ourselves to be with ourselves,

To give ourselves this special attention and focus,

It's natural for us to also want to share that with others around us,

For we are all connected and whole when one of us heals,

All of us can heal.

And so just feel that light moving beyond yourself for the benefit of us all.

You may notice some specific people that arise in your mind's eye,

You want to share this lovely light with or it might just be a sense of sending it out into the world to go where it is needed.

What a wonderful gift you are to yourself and the world.

This special light,

This amazing,

Comforting,

All-knowing,

Protective light that you have within you not only serves yourself and your highest good but can serve others as well.

I want you to feel really good about taking time for yourself today to give yourself this precious gift.

And as you sit in that knowingness,

That knowingness of just how extra special you are,

I want you to once again become aware of the breath moving in and out of your body and just notice if it feels any different.

I don't know if it feels lighter or smoother or slower or deeper or easier or maybe it just feels the same.

However it feels,

You are perfect just the way you are.

I want you to take that wonderful warm feeling with you as you move through the rest of your day knowing that when we take this time for ourselves,

It helps us flow through the world effortlessly with a little more ease,

A little more grace,

A little more focus to truly be the gift that we are and share the gift that we are with the world.

You might notice now that your fingers and toes may start to twitch or wake up.

You might notice the solidness of whatever it is that you've been sitting or laying on underneath you,

The points of connection where your body touches that object.

You may even want to roll your head and neck on your shoulders a little bit,

Shrug your shoulders up and down and as you just start to wake your body up,

You start to travel from that inner place out to becoming more aware of your external surroundings,

Whatever noise or happenings are happening,

Feeling an extra special sense of calmness and warmth as you move out into the world.

And then whether you want to or not,

You find your eyes wanting to open,

Adjusting to the light or the darkness of the space around you,

Ready to take on the rest of your day,

Excited about whatever adventures await you,

Whatever new experiences you get to go through today,

Knowing that you are all powerful,

Perfect just the way you are and always ready for whatever greets you around the next bend.

Thank you for being a very special version of you that you are and thank you for taking time for yourself today.

Go in peace.
