Take a nice deep breath.
Fill your whole chest cavity.
See if you can even breathe all the way down into your abdomen.
Nice deep breath.
Allowing yourself to come into this moment.
Be completely present.
And relaxed.
Allow your breath to ground you.
Allow your breath to ground you into the here and now.
Into your body.
You can feel your sitz bones.
Feel your spine straight.
You're stopping everything and giving this moment to yourself.
A gift of self care.
Breathing deeply into your abdomen.
I want you to bring your attention to the base of your spine.
Your first chakra.
This will help you ground into your body,
Into the space.
And connect to the earth,
Our sacred mother.
Just take a moment to feel that connection.
And as you breathe in,
If any fear comes up,
Simply say,
I am safe.
I am safe in my body.
I am safe on this planet.
I am safe in this connection to earth.
I willingly allow myself to let go of any armor of protection.
Because I know,
In this moment,
Right now,
I am being divinely held.
Imagine your first chakra like an anchor,
Grounding you into the body of Mother Earth.
And that anchor is like roots of a tree,
Spreading out from your root chakra,
Your first chakra,
Into the earth.
So many of us,
When we get afraid,
We exit our bodies.
Invite yourself back in.
It's safe to be grounded.
It's safe to have roots in Mother Earth.
Now I want you to imagine,
From these roots,
A trunk is growing.
Up the base of your spine,
It comes to your second chakra,
Your sex organs.
Breathe into this space.
I am safe in this space.
Breathe healing light and love into this part of your body.
Many of us have been hurt.
Allow your breath to wash that away.
Feeling the divine energy of the Mother holding you and healing you,
Breathing love into this space.
As you say,
I am safe.
This is my sacred body.
Feel a branch from that tree,
As if it's like an arm wrapping around your sex organs.
If you're a woman,
You can imagine it wrapping around your uterus,
Holding it safely.
Now I want you to imagine that trunk is continuing to grow up to your third chakra,
In the center of your stomach,
Your belly button.
You're feeling that safety infusing your body.
Imagine another limb of this tree wrapping around your waist,
Hugging you,
Supporting you.
You are safe and divinely protected.
Now imagine that trunk growing all the way up to your chest,
To your heart chakra.
And there it's like an explosion of life.
The tree has beautiful long limbs,
Covered in glorious green leaves.
And there in the center of the tree,
In the center of your heart space,
Is like an opening.
And you peek inside.
And there,
There she is,
The Divine Mother.
And she beckons to you.
And she says,
Come here,
My child.
And you crawl into this warm cave.
The ground is covered with soft skins.
And she says,
Come here.
And you climb into her arms.
And she enfolds you.
And in that moment,
You know you are completely safe,
Free from harm,
Divinely protected.
Allow yourself to completely surrender into this space.
There's no need for thoughts,
For words,
For defense mechanisms,
For armor.
It all dissolves away as she rocks you in her arms.
You are the Divine Child of God.
Any wound,
Abandonment,
Or suffering that you experienced as a child.
Allow it to come up and let it go.
You are now in the arms of the Sacred Mother.
She will never leave you.
She will never hurt you.
Her only job is to love you unconditionally.
Allow yourself to be held in her sacred arms,
Knowing that this exists.
It exists within your own heart.
You can always come back to this place by simply remembering and saying to yourself,
I am safe and divinely protected.
And as you say those words,
Breathe into your heart.
And remember this sacred cave,
The home of the Mother.
Breathing into your heart.
Letting the pain go,
The suffering go.
Knowing that you are always safe.
That safety is your divine right.
Look at the Mother's face as she smiles radiantly upon you.
She reaches down and she kisses your forehead.
You stand up and face her,
Bowing to her in thanks.
You leave her cave,
Which is inside of your heart,
Knowing you can return at any time to this sacred space of safety and love where you are divinely protected.
Take a nice deep breath into your heart space.
Feel the Mother's safety,
Her protection,
Like a cloak that you wear.
And as you stand with this cloak,
Breathe into your heart space.
And declare,
I am safe and divinely protected.
It is my divine right to always be safe.
I am emotionally safe.
I am physically safe.
I am always safe when I travel.
Wrap that cloak around you.
And know that it is your birthright as a child of God.
Breathe into your heart space.
Allow your awareness to come back into your physical body,
Back into the space where you are sitting.
Allow yourself to recognize the physical sensations in your body and in your heart.
If at any point you feel afraid,
Simply say,
I am safe and divinely protected.
Keep repeating it as often as necessary.
And as you do,
Remember to breathe into your heart.
And if you can,
Take a moment and close your eyes and remember the cave in your heart where the Divine Mother rests.
It is her only job to love you unconditionally,
To hold you,
To remind you that she will always protect you.
And so it is.
