This is Daily Magic for Peace.
Today we will honor the earth that we share.
Welcome to the circle.
The only thing you need today is a handful of earth.
You could also use a bowl of salt or even a bowl of rice.
Something that is of the earth.
Something that helps you connect to this beautiful planet we live and we walk around on every day.
As we settle in together,
I invite you to take your seat in the circle and look around in your mind's eye at the shining hearts and shining eyes of the other people who are here listening to this episode.
People you won't ever probably see in real life,
In real time,
But you can maybe sense during our time together here.
People who feel called to this work and who would like to sit in circle and send these intentions.
To calm our nervous systems today,
We are going to check in with our skin.
And notice what is the felt sense on our skin right now.
Notice what it feels like to be wearing clothing.
Notice what it feels like maybe to be wearing shoes.
What is the felt sensation of air on your skin?
What's the temperature of the room or the space you're in?
Is there any air blowing on you right now?
Is it warmer or cooler than your skin?
Do you feel any sunlight on you right now?
Is anything you're touching or that's nearby producing warmth or coolness?
And please join me in taking a breath.
And as you breathe out,
I invite you to breathe out very fully,
Very deeply.
And allow your awareness to drop down through whatever you're sitting or lying or standing on.
Effortlessly dropping down into the earth.
The earth which you're going to connect to and work from today,
The earth beneath you.
Find the soil.
Find the bedrock.
Find that sustainable force beneath you.
This beautiful,
Gorgeous planet that we live on.
Find your connection down into this earth.
And let go of anything you don't need.
That invitation is always there.
Any stress from the day.
Anything you might have been thinking about earlier,
You can just let it go.
And as we are here together,
Connected through our grounding cords to the earth,
I invite you to open your palms if you're in a place where this feels comfortable for you.
And maybe point your palms down to the ground.
And notice how just this posture feels different to your body.
Notice if perhaps you feel a little more connected to the earth.
Because you are kind of reaching down,
Intending down,
Connecting yourself down.
I think we do this unconsciously when we're trying to calm down.
And it's also a way we can send our love into the earth.
We can release excess energy to the earth this way.
We can send our love and our intention down to the earth.
And that's what I'd love to invite you to do.
You could hold a bowl of salt or a plant or a bowl of earth and send your intention in that way as well.
But if you don't happen to have an object today,
Go ahead and face your palms down if that feels good.
And just send some love and some connection down into the earth.
Not only for our own connection and our own groundedness,
But for the groundedness of everybody on this planet.
In your part of the planet,
Perhaps it's day and on the other part of the planet,
It's night.
So connecting almost through the earth.
This gigantic earth connecting down to the people on the other side.
And the other hemisphere having a very different experience from you.
And yet they are connected to this planet,
Same as you.
Weaving a web of connection between all the people of the planet through the earth.
Drawing everybody to be a little more grounded in this moment if it serves them.
Bringing everybody a little closer to the earth,
The way gravity can kind of hug us and pull us closer when we notice it.
This is just a simple meditation to connect through the planet and to send good energy.
And always,
Always honoring our home,
This beautiful earth that we're on.
I'd like to send some special care to the areas of Ukraine and Russia.
Please do that now.
Sending our care,
Our concern,
The reason we gather in circle right now is to honor them,
Their history,
Their struggle,
Their incredible,
Incredibly hard situation right now.
Just sending them that love.
And I invite you to follow your intuition with this magic.
And when you feel complete,
You can release your hands.
You might notice how your body feels.
If you feel any different.
If you feel any different than you did when we started.
And so it is.

Your presence,
Your energy and your heart make all the difference in healing our world.

Breathe and expand.
