This is Everyday Magic for Ukraine.
Today we honor the fathers in Ukraine.
Welcome to the circle.
So today all you need is an item that reminds you of being or having or knowing a father.
I'll leave it up to you to find an object or think of an object or memory that feels good to you.
And as we gather here today,
I invite you to take a breath.
Let's begin with the heart today.
We bring your attention,
Your focus to your heart.
And this might be placing a hand on your heart or just feeling into your heart center.
How is your heart today?
Do you notice anything in your heart space that is not yours or that is anxious or worried or just something you don't want to have in there?
It might show up as a cloudy type thing or a gray type thing if you're seeing it in your mind's eye.
If you see anything like that,
Feel free to find a way to release it.
You might let it just drift right out of your heart space.
You might allow it to drop down through your body and down to the floor and down into the earth.
Just allow it to move out gently,
Gently,
Gently.
If you feel any cords on your heart,
You can release them too.
You can just let those go.
And now when you notice your heart and feel into your heart,
It might feel a little different.
It might feel a little more clear.
It might shine a little more brightly.
And notice that that shine,
That essential energy within your heart is you,
Is your beautiful heart center glowing.
And now let's work with that.
Let's feel into that glow,
That passion,
That truth that is yours and only yours and see how it wants to move.
Is it radiating out of you?
Is it moving in a certain direction?
Is there a way you could make it flow up and down through all your chakras,
Filling your energy body with this heart energy,
Allowing your heart energy,
Your truth,
Your love to fill your body into your fingers and your toes and your eyelashes and into your skin and out of your skin,
Radiating out into your energy body,
Cleansing and clearing your aura,
Radiating out of you.
Just experiment with these ideas.

So today our focus is on the fathers in Ukraine.
We did an episode about fathers last year and I believe the item we used for that episode was a compass.
It's a symbol of knowing where you're going and of getting some direction,
Getting some guidance when maybe you're not sure.
And sometimes fathers can offer that kind of wisdom,
That kind of guidance,
And that kind of advice.
Now you may have a man in your life who is not your biological father but who is a father figure to you.
The greater focus is on the fathers in Ukraine right now who are so wanting to provide for and care for their families,
Who are potentially separated from those families still after two years of war.
Today is all about honoring them,
Their legacy,
Their guidance,
The ways they have shown up and continue to show up for the people that they love.
So I invite you to bring to mind a father figure for you,
A man you honor for fatherly ways or fatherly intentions,
Someone you maybe know or maybe just an imagined sort of generic father in Ukraine.
Bring this person to mind and see if you can see them very clearly.
Maybe they sit down with you in a neutral space,
A space where you can connect and talk for a while.
What would it be like to sit down with this person,
To listen to his story?
Just allow yourself to drop into that visualization of sitting down with this man and listening to his story.
You might look in his eyes,
You might notice his hands.
Just allow yourself to be with and spend some time right now in his presence.
And know that while you are doing this,
We are here with you looking at our own versions of father,
Honoring fathers in Ukraine today,
Whether they're on the front lines or at home with their family or communicating across the world with a family that has evacuated Ukraine or fathers who are no longer here,
Fathers who have passed away,
Fathers who have left an emptiness.
We are honoring these fathers with you here in Circle.
And so maybe now thank this father figure,
This man for coming to you and sitting with you.
Give him your wishes and you can let him go and come back just very gently to this room that you're in,
This place you're in,
Wherever you are right now.
Allow yourself to drift back and landing back in your body,
Maybe reconnecting with a heart energy.
And you might notice again,
Are there any chords on your heart that you don't need?
Connect again with your truth,
Your heart,
Your love,
And let it fill you again.
Filling your body and filling your energy body.
May we always remember there is great wisdom in the wise father.
And maybe always remember to honor the father's heart at work right now in Ukraine.
May it be so.
