As we enter into this moment of stillness,
Let us take a breath together to begin,
Inhaling deeply through your nose into your belly and beneath your belly,
Into your diaphragm,
Filling up that space until your chest also rises.
Sip in a little more if you need to.
And then through your mouth,
Exhale as you allow your shoulders to soften and the outer edges of your body to just become a little bit more gentle.
And let's take a few more like that.
Big inhale through the nose,
Filling up your belly,
Your diaphragm,
And then your upper chest.
You might pause ever so briefly at the top before exhaling through the mouth,
Softening the shoulders,
The jaw,
The forehead,
The eyes,
The chest,
The belly,
The legs.
And one more time,
Inhaling all the way to the bottom and the top of your being through the nose,
Perhaps holding for a moment at the top before exhaling and allowing yourself to surrender as you perhaps notice pockets of tension in your body and just allow them to soften in this moment without really doing too much.
You're not moving to fix them or shift them or change them but just giving them a little space to be and then to soften.
So we enter into this space together,
Asking for it to be a holy one,
A sacred moment of awareness,
Of choosing to be present,
Choosing to be here now with the intention to become a little closer,
A little more one with all that is good,
All that is pure,
All that is true and truth.
We're flooded with so much drama and news,
Which is generally not good.
So we ask as we enter into this moment to let go of anything that we don't need right now.
That we may,
In our letting go,
Become beacons of good in this world.
That as we shift and heal our own being,
We can become healers simply by being.
Let's take a few breaths together again.
Inhaling deeply into the bottom of your belly,
You might notice that it's a little easier now.
Exhaling fully,
Softening as you exhale.
Inhaling fully,
Exhale and soften.
Inhale,
Fill up,
Pause.
Exhale with the intention of surrendering.
Continuing to notice your breath,
Letting your breath be your guide,
Be your anchor that pulls you back continuously into this moment.
As we remember that there is only ever this moment.
And as we choose to remember to be in this moment,
We get to choose what we want to be in this moment.
Letting go of reacting,
Perhaps beginning to reflect.
What if the mirror that you hold up is only one of pure love,
So that as anyone looks into it,
They find that within themselves.
If you were to write a letter of devotion,
A letter of love,
What would it say?
Who would you send it to?
It's easy to send a letter of love to one that you love easily,
Freely.
But what about when that love becomes tainted by life?
What would your letter say then?
Dear one,
I love you.
I loved the days where only love was between us.
And in the days since,
When blame,
Shame,
And guilt found their way into our relationship,
Fear became the umbrella under which we stood.
And this day,
Here and now,
I'm choosing to close the umbrella because I know that the rain that falls is rain of love.
And I'm asking it here and now to wash away any bad feelings,
Any judgment,
I'm not pushing away the shame,
But I'm allowing myself to feel it,
Feel it fully in every space of my body,
Where I held it.
And I ask,
Invite,
Offer that you may do the same.
Not with an intention to hurt you in any way,
But with an intention that any pain may be felt in order to leave.
That you,
As I,
May be free.
Because without guilt,
Without blame,
If we put those to one side,
Ask them to just wait aside for a moment or two,
We remember and we notice that there is only love in its place.
And we again allow the love to flow between us,
As it has always done.
I never stopped loving you.
I couldn't,
For at the core of my being,
I am only love,
As I know you are too.
And as we let the love build and flow freely,
We notice that the companions to love are all love.
And we remember that as we choose to be in this state of love,
This essence of love,
As we allow it to guide our lives,
As we make choices from it,
We radiate it.
And everyone that enters into our life feels that love,
Simply from us feeling it for each other.
We don't need to explain it,
To even understand it,
Because it is an inner standing,
Not an understanding.
And when we look again for the blame and the guilt and the shame that we had stand aside for a moment,
We notice that they have become small,
Insignificant.
And we offer thanks,
Even to them,
For having protected us.
When our humanness needed that protection.
So in case we've forgotten,
We come back to the breath.
And we inhale again,
So deeply.
And as we exhale,
It is love that comes out of us.
From our breath and from every pore.
We emanate love.
What would your letter of love say?
Write it now in your mind's eye.
Speak it aloud if you feel called to do so.
Keep coming back to love,
Beloveds.
Keep coming back to love.
