As we come into the presence of being in this space,
In this place,
Right here,
Right now,
I invite you to soften.
Soften your jaw,
Soften your eyes,
Soften the palms of your hands,
The soles of your feet.
Soften your neck,
Soften your shoulders,
Soften your arms,
Soften your legs,
Soften your feet.
Practice softening even the roots of the hair in your scalp as the scalp softens away from the skull.
Now,
Inhale softly but deeply into the belly.
And as you exhale,
Begin to soften all of the outer edges of your being.
Now,
Continue like that for a moment or two,
Inhaling deeply,
Exhaling and softening.
As you continue to inhale,
Exhale,
Soften and soften some more.
Perhaps beginning to merge with that which holds you right now.
Of course,
There is the firmness beneath your seat or your feet.
Perhaps your arms are resting on your legs,
Your thighs or your knees.
Feel into what is stable,
What is firm beneath you.
And as you continue to keep coming back to the breath,
Allowing each exhale to remind you to soften.
Softening the edges into all that exists around you.
Perhaps feeling,
Sensing or imagining the blending of your body with the air that surrounds you.
Inhaling deep,
Exhale and soften.
As you begin and continue to soften into that which surrounds you,
Can you allow your mind to soften?
We're not asking thoughts to cease,
For that would be impossible.
We are inviting our clinging onto them to soften.
Perhaps each thought that arises,
We see like a soft cloud floating by.
This vast,
Open ocean of sky that we are becoming has no need to cling onto or hold any thoughts,
Any feelings,
Any details in this space.
Inhaling deeply,
Exhaling and softening.
Letting your awareness expand as you begin to see with new eyes.
Before your body,
Before your thoughts,
Who were you?
What is it that holds you in this moment?
And while you sleep,
We have entered into this realm in a dreaming state and have forgotten the power of our own creation.
As we continue to melt into that which holds us,
We begin to remember our supreme being.
This breath that we breathe,
This gift of life,
This experience that we get to be on.
What is the highest question that you can ask of yourself right now?
In this space where you are fully held,
Fully supported,
Fully seen,
Where all of your answers are in place,
What is the question that bubbles up from the centre of your being?
Perhaps even the centre of your being has dissolved.
What is it in this place that you most desire to know?
Continually returning to breath,
To spirit,
To love.
Remembering in your expansion the truth of who you are and who you came here to be.
Come back to this place often,
Beloved,
For here is where the answers lie.
Inhaling deep,
Exhale and soften.
Thank you.
