Welcome to the Dune Meditation with me Sharon Fitzmaurice.
And today we are going to focus on bringing our awareness into joy within ourselves and all around us.
So getting comfortable wherever you are and bring your awareness gently to your breath.
Closing your eyes and allowing yourself this time.
Allowing the breath to flow gently in and out of your body.
Allowing it to slow down naturally.
As you breathe in feel the rise of your chest and as you breathe out feel the shoulders drop down.
Allow your body to sink into the space below you.
With every breath,
Relaxing deeper and deeper.
And bring your attention down to your feet.
And imagine roots coming down from the soles of your feet and growing deep down into the core of Mother Earth.
Feel the roots going deeper and deeper,
Grounding and centering you.
Now breathe up through these roots and back into the soles of your feet.
Feel this nourishing energy moving up from the feet into the ankles.
Up through your lower legs,
Your knees,
Your thighs and pelvis.
And right up through your upper body and flowing into the neck and head.
Breathing in deeply through the nose,
Filling yourself up with this nourishing energy.
And you breathe out fully,
Relaxing the whole body.
Feel this energy.
Feel your life force.
You are energy.
Feel the life in every cell of your being.
Now expand your awareness to the space around you.
It is part of you.
Feel your energy expanding out even with your eyes closed.
You are sensing,
Feeling,
Breathing with life itself.
Now,
Expand your awareness even further now.
Up into the sky,
Through the clouds,
And out into space.
As you expand your awareness,
You feel the intensity of the sun,
The strength of the moon,
And the presence of the planet.
This is an active place of energy,
Vibration,
Light,
And darkness.
Everything co-exists in space.
Feel your awareness expanding deeper into this space,
Allowing yourself to let go of the sun,
Expanding into the joy of freedom.
Feel the joy move within you and all around you.
Just feel,
With every breath expanding,
Moving through time and space,
Allowing the light,
Being.
Take some time silently now to let yourself flow freely within.
Whatever arises,
Just let it flow.
And gently start to flow back down to the earth.
Back down to your physical body,
Your own on this earth.
Bringing your awareness back to the physical,
You breathe in deeply,
Feeling the joy of knowing that you are more than this beautiful body.
Smile,
Knowing you are part of this glorious universe.
Feel the joy expand within you and from you.
Feel this energy.
Feel your life for it.
Feel your feet on the ground once again,
And the roots still grounded and centered within our beautiful mother earth.
Breathe out that nurturing energy into every cell of your being.
Breathe out,
Smile.
You are the joy within your own life.
Feel your body once again,
Sitting on the chair,
Being grateful for this body,
Being grateful for this moment.
Deep breath in through the nose and breathing out again,
You open your eyes gently,
Returning to awareness,
Returning to yourself and feeling grateful.
Take your time when moving back into your day and find those joyful moments in the simplest of things.
Smile at yourself in the mirror,
Smile at others,
Smile at the world and the world will smile back.
