Meditation is a contemplative practice that brings our awareness into our truth inner peace and clarity by allowing ourselves to go deeper than our conscious thought we gain access to our innate wisdom and understanding prayer embodies the energy we hold when we ask for information and the process of meditation allows us to truly listen for the answers meditation is an important component of the awakening process and to get the most out of the experience begin by creating a comfortable quiet space that is inviting to use a straight backed but comfortable chair works best in a setting where you won't be disturbed one of the purposes of guided meditation is to allow participants to practice the focus that is needed to achieve stillness while being supported so let's begin place your feet firmly on the floor your arms relaxed your hands resting palm up on the top of your thighs as you open to receive allow your shoulders to roll back and drop down opening your chest and lengthening your neck allow your spine to become upright but relaxed as you let go of any tension that is held there close your eyes and begin to become aware of your breathing without changing it allow yourself to become familiar with the natural rhythm and depth of your breath breathe gently in and out letting go of any distractions you are holding allow your breath to soothe you now bringing you into an infinite state of balance and inner peace now deepen your breath as you inhale bring breath all the way to your toes and as you begin to consciously let go of any tension you are holding in your body inhale bringing vitality and limitless energy into every cell exhale releasing any tension slowly let go of thoughts feelings and emotions as you allow yourself to become immersed in the exquisite peace of detachment focus your awareness now on an experience in your life where you need clarity information or peace as it begins to enter your consciousness allow yourself to fully engage with it allow your thoughts and feelings to surface listening to the story you tell yourself now let go disengage take a deep breath and push yourself away from the experience floating gently and with ease allowing yourself to create the distance you need to be able to just observe it see yourself as a spectator as if the experience was happening to someone else and as you do allow it to unfold from the perspective of peace and clarity sit quietly until this process is complete for you and when you are ready open your eyes and return to the room
