Alicia D. has a deep appreciation for quiet. A natural nurturer and teacher, she is steeped in the work of helping others cultivate more pause in their busy lives, and making their lives less busy in the process. Her teachings and meditations are an exploration of the slower and spiritual side of yoga, an opportunity to step out of our habits of rushing and performance so we can really hear what our bodies have to teach us. Her meditations aim to calm the mind and nervous system through body-scanning, yoga nidra, guided breathing, and poetic imagery. By delivering these practices through gentle, comforting, even tones of voice, Alicia aims to lull listeners toward deep states of clarity and relaxation.
