Namaste,
I'm Smitha Joshi.
Welcome to my meditation practice.
Hawaiian rainbows,
Lush green forests,
Deeply hidden on the small island of Kauai.
Mount Waiali Ali,
Tall Jurassic mountains graze these ancient lands,
These islands of Hawaii.
Leafy green cathedrals carved by the rain make steep,
Deep valleys again and again.
Clouds rolling in from the ocean fast,
Happily shedding their gain.
Standing on the shore,
See the horizon where skies hug the sea,
A fine line from east to west.
Majestic magnificence.
How easy just to be.
Take a deep breath,
A rush of fresh air.
Just taste the ocean's salt.
How easy it is to be calm,
To be still,
To bring your thoughts to a halt.
Take another inhale,
Slow your breath right down.
Exhale,
Exhale.
Slow,
Long,
Smooth,
Exhale.
Inhale heart to crown,
Exhale crown to heart.
Take a slower,
Longer inhale this time,
Inhaling root to crown,
Exhale slowly crown to root.
Taste the ocean's salt,
Soothe your longing lips,
The brine washing away your concerns.
The patterns of clouds changing,
Drifting like the thoughts that your mind churns.
Churns could sit here forever,
Soaking up the sea of blue,
Gazing at the sapphire sky.
Let go those weary thoughts that to your long,
Distant past do keep you tied.
Make up your mind,
Exercise your choice to be peaceful and calm.
Let the azure ocean and sapphire skies become your soothing balm.
In between the clouds,
The piercing sun casting its radiant rays,
Rays,
Sparkles of light,
Silver and gold glistening onto the rolling waves.
From under a cloud,
A curtain of rain,
Pitter-patters on effervescent waves,
Weaving new patterns,
Ethereal prisms,
Perfect.
How a tropical shower behaves.
Closer to shore,
A patch of rain.
The sun pierces,
Punctures the gaps.
Across the sky,
A rainbow is born,
Iridescent colors.
It wraps,
Heavenly hues,
Radiant red,
Orange,
Blends into yellow,
Glorious green,
Beryl blue,
Fuses to indigo,
Vibrant violet,
And so many more.
Cloud closing in,
Showers unleash,
Golden sun powers through,
Beauty streaks across the sky,
Rain clouds to a rainbow's hue.
Rainbow painting a perfect bow from tarmac to the high seas,
Brushes the waves opalescent,
Flowing with the ocean's breeze.
Magical appearance,
A painting across the sky,
Pastel opalescent streaks.
This is the way that Mother Nature speaks.
If only for a moment,
If only you could touch,
Maybe in your hand's hold,
Feel the magic,
The wizardry in the rainbow's pot of gold.
The rainbow beams,
Beckons to an open portal.
Could you sail beneath,
To a promised land?
Lemuria,
Immortal,
Dark clouds gather,
Obscuring the sun,
Rainbow fading,
Light dimming,
Until there is none.
Beauty and magic,
Though ephemeral,
Fleeting,
Never do leave,
Until they set your heart singing.
The circle of life,
The cycle of time,
Sets up a new day to bask in the sunshine.
Hot and humid,
A fresh shower,
Graciously offering a new canvas,
A kaleidoscope,
Colours so stunning.
How can it be?
A land with so many rainbows,
Dancing on the ocean,
Across its vast green meadows.
The sun is an artist,
A passionate painter,
Splashing its light,
Weaving with rain its golden rays,
All for your soul's bliss,
Delight.
Nature's own magic bewitches you,
With her rainbows,
How she creates her mystical arcs,
Only she knows.
All your thoughts,
Your desires,
Grudges too,
They are not you,
Easy like clouds,
Like rainbows.
Let them all go,
And to yourself be true.
All that matters is harmony in mind,
Beauty in thought,
And to yourself be kind.
Trust the magic of the dazzling sun,
Pure cosmic abundance,
Life anew has begun.
Rainbows for you,
Glistening colours just for you,
They gleam,
Inspiring life,
Holding the promise of good days yet to come.
All your thoughts,
Your desires,
Grudges too,
They are not you,
Easy like clouds,
Like rainbows.
Let them all go,
And to yourself be true.
Keep looking out for rainbows appearing all across the sea,
Across the sea.
Learn to receive abundance in life,
Be as open as you can be.
All your thoughts,
Your desires,
Grudges too,
They are not you,
Easy like clouds,
Like rainbows.
Let them all go,
And to yourself be true.
Keep looking out for rainbows appearing all across the sea,
Learn to receive abundance in life,
Be as open as you can be.
All your thoughts,
