I am here to help inspire you to be your best self.
I'd like to start this meditation by closing your eyes,
Whether you are in a seated or lying down position.
And joining me in collective breath.
For five full rounds of big inhale belly breaths.
Big exhale releases.
Really trying to match your inhale and your exhale breath.
Visioning a circle of completion that's not lopsided,
That doesn't have any breakages in it.
Fluid,
Structural,
Ever flowing circle.
On our next breath together,
Let's take a big inhale,
Rising tall through your spine if you're seated.
Or feeling the expansion of your ribcage in a lying down position.
And as you exhale,
Open mouth,
Sigh release.
As you get as comfortable as possible here,
I invite you to look within.
Right,
Instead of this conditioned look without framework that so many of us are accustomed to.
For the purpose of the next few minutes together,
We're going to look within.
And I want you to envision a younger version of yourself,
Doesn't matter the age.
I want you to notice the very first vision that came to your mind.
Maybe what you were doing,
Perhaps what you were wearing.
Perhaps the environment in which you were in stands out to you.
Take another big inhale breath and exhale to embed that knowing within.
That sense of self trust that you hold the knowing.
You hold this knowing what serves you best.
Even at the trying times in your life where you feel as if the floor beneath you is crumbling.
That's where you are right now.
View it as an opportunity to come back to self.
To recreate your identity,
Your trust muscle,
Your sense of knowing what brings you joy,
Your full embodied you.
Take another big inhale breath,
Exhale sigh release.
And I invite in the thought of what sparks joy.
In your life could be anything at all.
Waves,
Sunshine,
Flowers,
Smiles,
Hiking,
Nature,
Pop culture.
What brings you joy?
And I want to take a moment to reflect if what brings you joy has any connection to that vision of a younger self.
In fact,
Perhaps you were doing or surrounded by what brings you joy in that vision.
As we close our time together in this five minute meditation.
I want you to ask yourself how you might emulate one joy,
Becoming your best self and being your best self because you already are your best self.
And two,
Emulating the wildly playful and wise spirit that exists within the younger versions of you.
Even the younger versions of you that tripped and fell,
Even the younger versions of you that slipped up.
Thank you all for your time today.
We'll end on a big collective breath.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Sigh release.
I trust that we will meet again soon.
