Hello,
Beautiful being.
I am so happy to be here with you today in this moment.
Today's meditation is for releasing our attachments,
Even if only for a few minutes.
Throughout our lives and daily doings,
We forget that we are often adding more and more things for our human to carry.
But it is so important to remember that we are deserving of a break,
Of removing our attachments to this life in order to see the root of who we are and all it blossoms.
To begin,
We are going to find a comfortable place to practice and sit with spine reaching for the sky and eyes closed.
I recommend placing both hands on your knees or at your side with palms facing up towards the sky as well.
Go ahead and take a nice breath of air in through your nose and out your mouth.
And one more.
As you come into this connection with your breath,
I want you to begin to release as best you can your attachments.
When we are done,
You are allowed to pick everything back up if you wish,
But for now,
Let's let go.
Let go of your human story and the perceptions and expectations to keep it up.
Your name and all the roles it has played,
Go ahead and release.
Let go of your needs and wants right now.
Ideas you have,
Memories you've made,
Projections you have placed on others or that have been placed on you.
Let go of your passions even and all the judgments and fear,
The ways you have chosen what wasn't out of love.
Take off what you are carrying.
As you do this,
Try your best to not get attached while remembering what you are letting go.
Let them go with love.
As you release more and more,
You may begin to feel lighter and if not,
That's okay.
There are no judgments or expectations in this space.
There is nothing to be done,
Just things to let go.
Let go without needing to be anything.
Without the attachment to this world,
To your story,
What is this?
What is this place?
Is there anything to live up to?
Without these attachments and ideas,
Are you failing?
Are you less than?
Are you here?
Are you one with all that is?
Are you free?
Are you nature simply happening?
What is it that calls you to this space?
Please remember,
You do not have to live your entire life being something that is not your own for others or for the expectations you may put on yourself.
These are part of your earthly life,
Yes,
But they are only a collection of what you have picked up along the way.
The you without borders is the you that came here to this planet.
The you without attachment is love,
Is nature,
Is the same voice that calls the trees to the surface,
The same surrender that brings upon us new seasons,
New life.
You are not just part of this miracle,
You are this miracle in this place.
All of life is witnessed by you.
With me,
Take a big breath of air and release the need to be and just be.
Throughout your day,
You may begin to pick back up what you were carrying before and that's okay.
It is human of us to do so.
But when you need a moment to come home,
This practice will always be here.
