Welcome to this Temple of Belonging activation meditation with me Stella Tomlinson.
Welcome home.
To follow this meditation,
Simply get comfortable.
Perhaps sit on a chair or lie on your bed.
Somewhere you can feel supported,
Quiet and safe.
We'll begin with a practice of settling,
Breathing and landing here.
And then you'll be guided to activate your very own inner Temple of Belonging.
A safe sanctuary to which you can return whenever you need to feel calm,
Grounded and open to receive the wise whispers of your soul.
Now,
Sit back or lie back in the position that you're in.
And allow for your body to settle and come to rest.
Knowing that at any point during this practice that you can move if you wish to.
You're at liberty to allow yourself to become a little more comfortable.
Even more at ease.
Settling into your space.
And as you arrive,
Take a nice deep breath in now.
Filling up the lungs and belly.
And then releasing out through the mouth.
Breathing out.
Releasing all the air.
Again,
When you're ready,
Inhale deeply.
Belly and chest filling up and expanding.
And when you're ready,
Exhale out.
Letting go.
In your own time,
One more time.
Fill up.
And release.
And you can let your eyes close if you'd like to.
Or just soften your gaze if you prefer.
And now become aware of where and how your body is in contact with the support beneath you.
Notice how and where you are supported.
Feeling into the many points of contact and support.
And can you sense how the chair,
The ground or the bed holds your weight?
And can you sense how you are connected to the earth through the floor,
The foundations of the building,
Down into the earth.
Releasing the support of your body to the earth beneath you.
Fully sinking into the support beneath you.
You are here.
There is nowhere else to be.
Now inviting an inner felt sense of comfort and ease into your body.
Perhaps you can sense your jaw softening.
Cheeks,
Eyes,
Brow.
Back of the head and neck softening.
Shoulders,
Arms and hands releasing.
A sense of spaciousness around the heart.
Warmth,
Ease in your belly.
Perhaps a pleasant heaviness in the pelvis,
Legs,
Feet.
And beginning to notice your breath now.
Welcome the feeling of your body breathing itself.
The felt sense of your abdomen relaxing with each exhalation.
Just let the breath take care of itself.
Watching as the breath lets itself in and lets itself out.
Noticing the natural cycle of the breath.
The breath rolling in and the breath rolling out.
And becoming aware of the whole body.
The whole body becoming settled and still.
And can you let your body settle as your breath lets itself in and lets itself out.
Feeling held by the support beneath you.
Feeling gravity holding you.
Feeling the earth holding you.
Breathing it all in.
Welcome it all into your body.
Receive healing,
Love,
Support into every cell of your being with each breath you take.
Feeling held,
Connected,
Supported.
Feeling cherished and loved.
Breathe and receive.
And now you are going on a soul journey to discover your inner temple of belonging.
A place to feel safe and protected.
A place where you can feel grounded,
Calm,
Confident and clear.
So as your body rests safely here,
In your mind's eye begin to create and weave in a soul sanctuary.
In your mind's eye now begin to imagine yourself in a sanctuary space,
A temple space.
However that looks and feels to you.
This is a moment to bring to mind a place where you feel content and at ease.
A place in nature maybe.
Or a room or building.
Real or imagined.
A place that feels so safe and secure.
You feel at ease here.
This is your soul sanctuary,
Your inner temple of belonging.
Just relax and let it reveal itself to you.
What does it look like?
What does it feel like?
Smell like?
Sound like?
Take in as much or as little detail as you like.
With all of your senses,
The light,
The colour,
The feeling of the place.
Sense this inner temple.
If it's inside,
Is there a fire there?
Furniture?
What are the walls like?
What colours?
Is it dark and cosy or light and spacious?
Or are you outside in a secluded garden or by a sacred well?
Or sat under the protective canopy of an old tree?
There's no right or wrong place this is your space.
Take your time now and really feel into it.
Allow this temple of belonging,
Your soul sanctuary to emerge as a felt sense within your body.
Sensing feelings that you associate with being secure and at ease and a felt sense of wellbeing.
Welcome this safe haven within you and affirm to yourself that you can return to this place of wellbeing at any time during your day and life whenever you need to feel secure,
Calm,
At ease and connected to your soul self and your innermost wisdom.
And now within your soul sanctuary temple you begin to out a figure forming,
Coming closer now.
This is your temple guide,
Your own inner wise soul guide,
Exuding a presence of warmth and welcome,
A presence of wisdom and love.
As they come closer now you feel so welcomed by their energy.
Their love for you pours forth.
You feel safe in their presence.
Just notice what age are they?
Or are they ageless?
What does this guide look like to you?
Do they have a particular gender or not?
What are they wearing?
This is your personal wise guide who knows your innermost yearnings,
Who speaks the language of your soul.
Take in how your wise guide is presenting themselves to you.
There is no right or wrong way.
Perhaps it's more of a feeling than an image.
And now as my voice fades away just for a little while,
Spend some time in this space,
Your temple of belonging and just open for a little while to the presence of your guide.
Perhaps they have a message for you.
And know that you will be told when it is time to return.
And now it is time to return.
Now it is time to return.
Thanking your inner wise guide for their presence and any message they shared.
Once again taking in the surroundings of your temple of belonging and the felt sense it evokes in your body of safety,
Of ease,
Of well-being.
The felt sense of belonging.
And know that you can return to this inner sanctuary any time you need to feel safe and protected.
Any time you wish to consult the temple's guide,
Your wise inner guide and the whispers of your soul.
So now let the image of the place gently fade.
And begin to notice the sounds in the room around you.
Sensing your place in the room you're in and what's around you.
Becoming aware of your physical body and in your own time beginning to move,
Perhaps stretch.
Gently opening your eyes whenever you feel ready.
This temple of belonging activation practice is now complete.
Welcome home.
And know that this inner sanctuary of your temple of belonging and your wise guide are always with you and within you.
May you feel safe and protected.
And may you trust yourself.
