You know,

When we have the courage to look into our shadows and to hold space for ourselves,

We're acknowledging that we're important enough to go into those areas and that we love ourselves enough to kind of dive within our depths,

Even though it feels fearful.

It's like the picture that I'm getting right now is almost like,

You know,

If a house was on fire and part of you was inside,

You know,

It's like being willing to run inside and get that other part of you and come back to like the healing and wholeness of it.

And then you get to actively choose what you do with that information,

Like what you find in those shadow frequencies.

And I think that we have the opportunity to explore them again from that place of love and curiosity and non-judgment,

Recognizing that,

Yeah,

I may have this pattern or yeah,

This might have shown up like this for me in the past,

But I don't have to continue now that I'm aware of it.

I can consciously step into my power and see how I can make a different choice in this present moment or in the future.

So,

You know,

That way we can align with that ultimate goal or the results and we can do it really consciously rather than kind of letting our subconscious programming or things from the past run the show and then,

You know,

Wake up one day and be like,

Oh my God,

I'm so disconnected for myself and I'm so far away from my goals and I don't know how I got here.

And,

You know,

It leads to this place where you're confused and you kind of feel stuck.

So for me,

Like diving in and being willing to look at that,

But also using different tools and having support really just,

It's a game changer.

It's a life changer.

Literally,

It's changed my life and the life of my clients too.

I'm really looking forward to speaking with you because you are also someone who loves hypnosis and the power of our mind and how our emotions and energy and all that good stuff can combine to lead us towards our goals or take us away from them and all of that stuff.

And I know that you are an intuitive life and business coach,

Which I think is fascinating in itself.

So I can't wait to dive into that.

But first,

I would like to know if there's something that you've learned recently that has really inspired you.

Yeah.

Well,

First of all,

I just want to say thank you so much for having me here today on your podcast and connecting and just holding this space to let us really express and let our magic happen.

And I love that question too.

So,

The last part that you read about my little bio around using spirit-led strategies,

When I say that people are always like,

Well,

What exactly do you mean by that?

And for me,

One of the powerful transformational tools that I use myself and with my clients is Gene Keys.

And with that,

With that,

It talks about our spiritual DNA and our different frequencies.

And so actually in my own personal profile,

In my emotional sphere,

My gift frequency is all about inspiration.

So for me,

Really,

I can find inspiration in anything as long as I'm being mindful and conscious and kind of paying attention.

And I guess most recently,

So I,

And before we hopped in the podcast here,

We chatted,

I just got back from a retreat where we did like Kundalini yoga,

But there was also like a lot of sisterhood and just connecting.

And it was,

It was in person too,

Which was so nice for me because when you're running your business online,

Sometimes it can feel so easy to become like disconnected,

I guess.

And just the power of being in a group of like minded women,

Getting to exchange energy and share stories and be real and raw and share our truth and encourage each other and lift each other up and,

And hold spaces.

It's so healing and nourishing.

And that most recently probably has been the most inspiring thing for me since I'm just coming out of that retreat.

Oh,

That's lovely.

And I totally get what you mean by when you're online all the time to be in the presence of people and get to just feel their energy around you,

Their heart,

Just that goodness,

Their support,

Just all that fun that,

I mean,

You can still feel that through,

You know,

Being online or even this call.

Like I can feel the goodness coming from you,

But when you're in person with people,

It just can light you up in a whole new way.

Yeah,

Yeah,

Exactly.

And Alicia,

What tool did you say that you use in there?

I,

Can you tell me that,

Tell me that again?

Yeah.

So I referenced Jean Key's profile.

So it's kind of,

I guess like a simple version of explaining it is like our spiritual DNA.

And we all have all 64 of the different Jean Keys within us,

But then within our profile,

We kind of have these certain energetic patterns activated more.

They're kind of like themes that you'll notice in your life more often.

So I think there's maybe a potential for 11s.

Like,

So I have a few different keys that are repeating,

But basically it kind of is also a tool that lets you look at like your divine gifts and patterns that you have in your relationships.

And also you can look at things in your business there as well.

So I really love to use that kind of as like a self awareness tool and,

And to navigate through the energetics and,

And have something really supportive,

Like a framework around those types of things.

Oh,

That's really fascinating.

I don't think I've heard of those before.

So that's really intriguing to me.

And so you said that you have like a gift frequency?

Yeah.

So we all have a gift free.

We all have gift frequencies in all of our Jean Keys.

So if you kind of think about it,

There's,

There's three different frequencies,

Actually.

So there's the shadow frequency for every Jean Key or also if you're familiar with human design,

There are aspects of Jean Keys that are built off of human design.

So there's the shadow frequency.

And then,

You know,

When we can kind of find the gift in that shadow and,

And elevate our energy,

Then we all can come into that gift frequency.

And then above that is the city.

And that's like the highest frequency,

But it's not necessarily the goal.

You know,

It's,

It's really enjoyable and kind of find more of your flow and pleasure and magic when you're operating out of that gift frequency.

But I found it really helpful to,

You know,

Navigating different things in my life.

And so for example,

In my life purpose here,

In the shadow frequency,

I have the opportunity to really get caught up in stress.

And when I can notice that I'm stressed out or I'm overloading my plate with too many things to do,

Or,

You know,

Sometimes it's not even about the schedule more so it's like about my mindset and the thoughts and emotions that I'm tying to those,

You know,

I,

I find that I'm in stress and then I have awareness and like,

Oh,

Okay,

I'm actually just operating in that shadow frequency.

What's the gift here?

What's the lesson?

And then,

You know,

In that particular Jean Key,

The gift frequency is called restraint.

And so for me,

I get to tap into like,

Okay,

You know,

Where is it actually helpful and beneficial for me to practice restraint?

You know,

Maybe that looks like in this moment around my thought patterns and not going into like a negative thought spiral,

Or maybe it looks like,

You know,

Taking some time to,

You know,

Set down the to do list and acknowledge and process through my emotions,

Or maybe it does look like,

You know,

Putting boundaries down and taking things off my plate and saying no more often.

So that's a way for me to kind of practically implement is the way that I personally look at it and I want to help my clients and those frequencies so that then when we kind of harmonize or align with our higher selves,

I've found that we step into flow and,

You know,

That's when like the sales come in unexpectedly or,

You know,

Podcast invitations,

Or it's easier to create content or your relationships start changing,

And there's more joy,

And you can experience more of that love.

And there's just,

I mean,

There's so much potential for magic with that.

Hmm.

That is fascinating.

I love that.

I've been hearing so much more about human design.

It's something that's like recently come into my world.

So the more I'm learning about it,

The more it just like fascinates me.

And I'm like,

Wow,

This is such neat stuff.

And I also love Alicia that you talked about finding the gift and the lessons in the shadow,

Because sometimes we're so scared to look in the areas of ourselves that where we feel uncomfortable or embarrassed,

Or we don't want other people to know this about ourselves.

And can you share a little bit of what the gift is or the reason why it's helpful to you when you look and explore those areas of ourselves?

Yeah,

Absolutely.

That's such a good question.

I feel like we could talk for 12 hours about this.

But essentially for me,

I think it all boils down to like,

I guess love.

When we have the courage to look into our shadows and to hold space for ourselves,

We're acknowledging that we're important enough to go into those areas and that we love ourselves enough to kind of dive within our depths,

Even though it feels fearful.

Like the picture that I'm getting right now is almost like,

You know,

And Alicia,

What an amazing metaphor of the house on fire and then running in to go get the other part of you.

Oh my gosh.

That was really good.

That gave me goosebumps.

I loved it.

Oh yeah.

And it's a great visual too.

When you think about it that way,

It's like,

That's like life or death right there.

If your house is on fire and part of you is in there.

Right.

So that was really good.

Thank you.

It just came to me right now.

So I'm like,

Oh,

That is good.

Like keeping that in my back pocket.

Yeah.

And I mean,

That's the thing too,

Like even the fact that I can be in this relaxed state right now and,

And allow my intuition to come up and to share like,

Oh,

I just,

I'm seeing this visual and then to speak it out is proof of like the tools.

Because if you would have met me 10 years ago,

I would have been like terrified to hop on this podcast with somebody that I've never really interacted with before.

I wouldn't have believed in myself.

I wouldn't have thought that I had anything valuable to say.

I would have been afraid of expressing or fearful that I would say the wrong thing or be judged and things like that.

So like this type of work on,

On our thoughts and emotions and frequencies literally allowed me to show up as a different person and just be so comfortable and trusting that like I can share myself with you and that that's enough and you can share yourself with me and we can have this conversation and it's enough.

And then,

You know,

We get to share it with the world.

And like,

To me,

I'm just seeing this like beautiful rebel effect of love and healing and like expressing our divinity really.

Oh,

I love that.

And I agree.

And I'm so honored to have you here.

And I love,

That's what I love about this and the online world now is that we can connect with people and define people and that ripple effect of love can just totally,

I mean,

We don't know the limits of it.

Do you know what I mean?

It can,

It's so cool.

Which makes me wonder.

So I know you on your website,

You talk a lot about like manifesting and you have this really cool sign up for journaling,

Right?

To manifest like 10K.

Cause it sounds like you work a lot with people who are a business in sales and they're like struggling or they want to have more sales coming in because obviously that's their livelihood.

And so I'm curious if someone is wondering if the law of attraction and manifesting,

Is that even valid?

Yeah.

That's such a good question.

So it's so interesting to me because I guess the simplest answer is yes.

And also I think that there,

I understand why there's confusion around that.

Right.

And I think that the way that it's taught sometimes is not taught holistically and it can be watered down.

And,

And like,

Even the,

Your question before such a great question around like,

Why should we look into the shadows?

I think people get confused with the whole law of attraction and manifesting because they're like,

Oh my God,

If I look at my negative thoughts or emotions,

Then I'm going to manifest it because the law of attraction said so.

And to me that's not the whole picture,

Right?

Because those things can be happening below the surface,

Right?

And our subconscious and you're still,

If you think about it kind of like a vase,

Right.

And the water,

You still have all of that negative energetic frequency being sent out into the universe.

Even if on the top of the base,

You cover it up with a piece of paper that says like,

I'm going to be a millionaire tomorrow.

Right.

So there's like,

The resonance isn't there.

And so I think that can cause a lot of confusion and and you know,

Like the law of attraction can feel very like woo-woo and fluffy and like,

How do I actually like practically implement this?

And I think that there's a lot of opportunity to provide more clarity.

And then I,

What I also want to say with that too,

Is like,

There's more than just the law of attraction,

Right?

There's also the law of action.

So for example,

I'm actually in the process of creating a membership site right now,

Where I've distilled some of these tools into like,

Really simple program where people can just kind of wake up,

Set their intentions,

Journal out,

Put out a piece of content and already set their energy in motion.

But then they're also taking action and creating that momentum in their business as well.

Because I think there's,

There's kind of two camps,

Or at least the people that tend to be attracted to me,

They're either,

You know,

Doing all this law of attraction,

We're trying not to think,

You know,

Quote unquote,

Bad thoughts or,

You know,

Have feel bad or sad.

And so they're repressing or suppression their emotions,

But then they're not taking action.

And so they're not seeing the results they want.

Or on the other side,

There's these people that aren't paying any attention to their thoughts,

Emotions and energetic,

And they're just taking all the action,

But they're,

They're taking action in the wrong direction.

And their energetic frequency is putting,

Putting out these little signals of like fear or like unworthiness.

And so they're not seeing the full amount of success that they could because they're not holistically aligning in their personal life and in their business as well.

So that makes sense.

I feel like that's a really long kind of circle explanation around your question.

So hopefully that kind of answered some of it there.

No,

That was fantastic.

And I think that is such a solid point that so often we forget about because we hear like,

You know,

When you're hearing like,

Be positive,

Think positive,

Don't like sit in things too long.

It's still,

You have to move through it.

Right?

So if you're feeling something like,

I loved your examples of it can still be underneath the surface,

Right?

If you're not giving it any attention,

Then it has no place to go.

So it's just going to grow inside you until you give it its attention.

You know what I mean?

Like it starts to you're all of a sudden it's like these emotions are throwing internal tantrums until you give it the attention it needs to work through it.

Because if we just sweep it under the rug,

It's,

It's still there.

It's under the rug,

You know?

Yeah.

Exactly.

So,

Yeah.

So I love that you mentioned that.

I love that you also talked about the law of action because if we're not putting action into place and moving ourselves towards the goal,

It's to me,

It's like,

We're almost teaming up with the universe or whatever we want to call that.

Right.

It's like,

We're a team,

But we still have to do our part,

You know?

Yes.

Yeah.

I love that you said that because that's how I view it as well.

You know,

Like co-creating with the universe.

And,

And I think that when we can get to know ourselves and love ourselves and get into alignment with our higher selves and begin to embody that,

That's when the magic really happens.

And it's,

It's not that we,

It's not exactly that we could completely disappear,

Right?

Like we're obviously in our physical human form,

But it's that we create space for us to embody those higher frequencies.

And to me,

It's like,

We're allowing the universe to express itself through us and kind of come here to live out our sole purpose that,

You know,

We originally were designed for.

And that's such a beautiful thing.

And I think that when we give ourselves permission to do that,

That's especially,

Like you said,

Where we see the universe showing up for us.

And so with my clients,

You know,

There,

There can be a lot of them tend to have gone through a lot of programs with other coaches who are like,

This is the only way,

You know,

It's,

It's my way of the highway.

You won't be successful unless you follow like my five step formula.

And so they try to fit themselves into a box and,

You know,

They write their copy this very specific way and they create their ads and launch this way that somebody else told them,

Right?

So in that essence,

Also,

They're giving their power away and ignoring their own intuition,

And not trusting themselves and their connection with the universe.

But they're also kind of blocking the flow,

Right?

And so when we can,

Like,

Decondition,

I guess,

Around all these beliefs that we pick up in our childhood and society,

We create that magic where we can trust ourselves,

Tap into,

You know,

What our intuition and what our heart has to say,

Connect to the energy of our clients.

And then like you said,

Take that action,

Post it online,

You know,

Be guided and tune in and say,

Okay,

Is this being meant for Instagram?

Does this content want to go on the podcast?

Is this meant to go on email right now?

Or perhaps,

You know,

You have like a spiral system to help with the repurposing,

But you know,

You tune in for what's,

What's aligned in that moment.

And then you surrender after you take that action and know that the universe is there to back you up.

And it will intuitively kind of nudge someone to go hop on Instagram right now.

And then they'll just happen to see your post and it will move them and be so supportive and valuable.

And then,

You know,

They'll reach out and message you and say,

Hey,

How can I work with you?

Right.

And,

And that's the space where the flow and the magic and,

And more sales get to happen.

And it happened because you,

You made that decision and you chose to align with yourself.

And with the universe and,

And you're just working in harmony and like,

Like you're not getting in your own way or self sabotaging that pattern or making it harder than it needs to be.

I love that.

That's so important too.

And that's part of doing that work of looking at the,

The shadow side or the uncomfortableness,

You know,

Whatever you want to call it is because it's like doing that work to move through it,

To identify it so that you aren't sabotaging yourself or getting in your own way or letting the fear hold you back.

You know,

The fear of what could happen and all of that.

So,

Oh,

I love that you're mentioning all this,

Which I also want to share and just talk about for a minute that you truly practice what you're teaching because you have not had the easiest road.

You had to do your work and you know,

That it's important to show up for yourself and do the work,

Even when it's really hard and even when it's uncomfortable.

So can you share a little bit of your story of how you went from being homeless to now being in a place where you understand,

It's like to the depths of your soul,

How the importance of your,

The power of your mind and emotions and energy,

How it can really help you transform your life.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Oh,

I'm getting chills just even thinking about this.

So yeah.

And to be completely honest,

Like I'm actually feeling a little bit more vulnerable in this moment than I expected,

But that's,

That's also amazing and beautiful,

Right?

That,

That I can be at this space of self-acceptance and share that with you and whoever's listening and still continue to,

To move forward.

But this is an area where,

Well,

I guess growing up,

You could say I,

I grew up in an environment where there was a lot of trauma.

My brother and sister's father was a drug addict and alcoholic,

And I've experienced physical,

Mental,

Verbal,

And even sexual abuse.

And there were different periods in our life when,

You know,

He would piss off the drug dealer or lose his job or change his mind.

And all of a sudden we moved to a different place or,

You know,

There were actually moments in between where we were homeless or living like my brother and sister and I sharing a bed in a motel and my mom working two jobs.

And,

You know,

A lot of chaos and probably a different experience from what I understand than what most people grow up with.

And so from that,

You know,

I,

I didn't get the message a whole lot growing up that I was worthy or that I mattered.

In fact,

I got the message of like,

You know,

Sit down and shut up or else you might wake like the monster and then create more pain type of thing.

So I,

I really grew up kind of navigating rocky dynamics and learning how to silence myself in an effort to keep myself and my family safe and really growing up not necessarily like the typical childhood,

You know,

Being more responsible at a younger age.

And those were things that caused me a lot of internal pain.

And thankfully around middle school that situation changed.

My mom ended that relationship and she became a single mom and that had its own struggles,

But the progress and momentum,

I guess you could say,

Started changing.

And I went to counseling and we went to like Al-Anon meetings.

So I kind of also grew up around like a lot of older adults who were sharing wisdom,

Strength,

And hope that things could be different.

So I had those seeds that were planted,

Even though I didn't understand and my experience didn't look like that.

I had some belief within myself that things could be different.

And then getting older,

You know,

Even though I had done some of that work and gone to therapy,

I still had all those patterns and things that were below the surface.

And I was repeating those patterns and like that self-sabotage.

And I started dating a guy in high school who was potentially a sociopath,

If not that,

At least a narcissist.

And long story short,

After high school,

Two weeks later,

I moved out to Florida to move in with him.

He was two years older than me,

So he'd already graduated.

And we were,

It was interesting because in some ways it felt healthier to me than anything I had grown up with.

And I was just,

I was just,

I was just at the same time,

You know,

Really deep below the surface.

I knew that it wasn't necessarily a good,

Healthy situation.

And there were a lot of ways that I was giving my power away to him,

A lot of ways that I wasn't trusting myself or my intuition,

A lot of ways that,

You know,

I was still feeling unworthy and not safe to express myself and living in fear.

And I guess to jump ahead again a little bit more long story short,

Around,

Yeah,

I guess I must've been 19 or 20,

So I'm 31 now,

It was almost a decade ago,

But sometime around then I found myself homeless,

Even though I had been paying the rent and providing food for three adults.

And I was like,

Wait a minute,

What the fuck happened?

Like,

How did I find myself in this situation?

And you know,

I had found a place for us to live and I was handing my check over to him and he told me that he was going to give the money to our landlord to pay the rent.

And it turns out while I was working during the day,

He was actually taking that money and using it to go purchase heroin.

And also,

You know,

Providing that for his friend who we had let move in.

And it was just this whole situation that I'm very thankful is not anything like the reality that I live in today,

But you know,

I found myself in that shocking situation and it really woke me up and it made me question like how I got there and how I also had kind of,

There was a moment where I was able to see like,

Oh,

This is actually kind of similar to my childhood.

How did this happen?

When I got into this relationship,

Things were so much better and now they're entirely worse than I'm an adult.

I'm supposed to be responsible and getting it together and stuff.

And I would like to say I learned my lesson and like magic,

It was all better in that moment,

But you know,

I had a little bit more of a journey to navigate through there.

But I'm very thankful too because I had people in my life who saw the goodness in me and who saw my worthiness and who spoke life into me and who helped me get out of that,

You know,

Quote unquote rock bottom situation.

And they introduced me to the personal development industry.

That was something I never had any idea about.

And actually,

I guess more specifically,

My mom was dating somebody at the time and they let me move in with them and he introduced me to Tony Robbins and I saw an old video,

I think Tony Robbins was like 17 or 18 and he was,

You know,

Working on like the subconscious and talking about the way that our brain works and the way that your thoughts influence your reality.

And there was,

I can't remember exactly what it is now,

But there was one line that he said,

And I'm like,

Oh my God,

I've been thinking that my entire life and feeling so weird from everyone else and like my classmates and everything.

But like,

You're telling me that you were thinking this too,

And you resonate.

And like,

I saw how he had built up his business and like,

You know,

Was in front of hundreds of people and the transformation.

And I just,

I fell in love and it was like,

I fell into alignment with the version of what my soul came here to do.

And then I started practically implementing those tools and actually signed up to become a strategic interventionist under Tony's kind of school of thought around that kind of stuff.

And from there,

Just,

You know,

I'm the type of person that's constantly growing and then also wanting to share and contribute back because I know that the power of these things have changed my life.

You know,

I'm 31 now and I'm happily married and we bought our first house a few years ago.

So there's no more stabilization there.

You know,

Two cars that are paid off,

Have a daughter who is my miracle daughter.

Cause I was also having,

You know,

Health problems at that time.

And there's just,

I mean,

And I'm getting to like be on a podcast with you now and express like the truth authentically.

And I have this amazing business that lets me like do what my soul came here to do.

And to me,

It's just like the ripple effect of,

Of love,

But it all really started with one,

Like learning that I don't have to think everything that's coming into my brain and that the thoughts I'm thinking are actually like a recipe for the emotions that I'm feeling.

And that combination then creates the actions that I do or don't take,

Which then creates the results.

And I think foundationally,

That's where it all began to shift.

And the more that I just stayed committed to that work you know,

And obviously I,

Like I said,

I use the gene keys and human designs have added other tools in there,

But foundationally just kind of going back to that and constantly recalibrating has what it's,

What's changed my life and continues to just make it better and better for myself.

And then the people I get to interact with as well.

And I'm forever grateful.

I statistically should not be living the life that I'm living.

And I know it's because of the power of these tools.

Wow,

Alicia,

That's a really powerful story.

Even when you were feeling vulnerable.

I mean,

It makes sense because that was a very challenging and traumatic life to experience.

Yeah.

And it led you to where you are.

So there's so much,

Even though there was so much pain,

There was something inside you that knew the whole time that,

Hey,

My whole life doesn't have to be this pain.

And so the fact that you were introduced to Tony Robbins,

And I think this is the most important part that people often forget about this piece is that when you hear a tool that sounds interesting and resonates with you,

Apply it,

We forget the apply part,

You know,

We just hear it.

And then we continue doing everything we've already been doing.

And so it's when we start applying the things that spark a little interest in us or resonate with us deeply,

Then,

You know,

We're like,

Wow,

Then we can start to see the change happen.

And that's when we were talking about earlier,

It's so important to do your part of it.

And Alicia,

I mean,

Do you think you'd be where you are today if you didn't do your part of the puzzle?

Oh,

Not at all.

I mean,

I don't even think I would be alive today if I didn't continually apply it and use these tools and techniques in my life.

So if somebody is listening and they're like,

Okay,

Well,

I want to apply some of this mindset stuff,

Like how,

What would be the first step that you encourage people to do when it comes to just being aware of their mindset and how to use it to actually uplift them instead of hold them down?

Yeah,

That's such a good question.

And actually,

I just also want to take a moment to like honor you for the way that you helped me and while I shared my story and reflecting back to me the beauty of that,

Because that's something that not everyone does.

And I deeply appreciate that and the way that you hold space for you know,

Obviously,

If you're doing this with me,

And I'm sure you do this with your clients and,

And your audience members get to benefit from that as well.

So I just wanted to,

To let you know,

I noticed that and deeply appreciate it.

Because like you said,

Was feeling that bone of like,

Oh my gosh,

You know,

Vulnerability,

But you also held the space and created that safety and support for me to share that.

And I think that's so powerful.

So I guess,

Actually,

You know,

Then that kind of leads into your core,

Your question,

I think the first part is if you're curious,

And you're completely new to this,

Then it would be looking to support,

Right?

So whether that's working with someone one on one or in a group program,

Or somebody's,

You know,

Like do it yourself type of course work,

Or self hypnosis,

Or taking a free course or reading a book,

Like find someone that is further along on the path and can educate you and like you said,

Find something that resonates and then give yourself permission to follow that thread.

And when you have support in place,

Right,

And so even if it's just an accountability partner or your neighbor and you guys are reading a book together,

There are going to be times that are going to get really uncomfortable,

Right and and know that you can do uncomfortable things and that the reward will be life changing better than you could ever dream or imagine.

And so make that decision before you start that you'll keep going.

And,

And with that,

Right,

Making that decision,

The first place I would start is around,

You know,

Just even noticing your thoughts,

If you're not in the habit of that create that,

That self awareness and notice,

You know,

Especially because I work with business owners,

They'll,

They'll go to launch a new product or group coaching program or something,

And maybe they'll take all the action,

But then when they go to put it out there,

They're thinking,

Oh my god,

This sucks,

Like nobody's gonna want to buy this,

Or why would they want to work with me or nobody has the money to pay me for this,

Right.

And so when we're not aware of those thoughts,

We're putting that energy out into the universe,

And it becomes like a self fulfilling prophecy.

So if the only thing that you do or like the first place you start is become aware of your thoughts,

And track them,

Right,

So maybe like set a timer on your phone to go off every hour and ask yourself,

What am I thinking,

What am I feeling and then jot that down,

It'll create that awareness.

And then from that space of awareness,

You have choice.

And you can either dive in and you know,

If you have some tools or techniques or some support,

And begin to shift those things or you know,

Even if we're even like before,

Even on the surface,

Right,

You can say,

Is this thought going to get me closer to what I want?

Is it going to get me closer to supporting the people who I know that my work can really add value to their lives?

Or is it going to get me further away,

Right?

And if it's going to get you further away,

Then in that moment,

Consciously make the decision to think something different,

Right.

So,

For example,

If you if you find yourself thinking like sales is sleazy,

Or I'm not,

I'm not any good at sales,

Right?

Like,

Can you find yourself in that space of awareness,

Then can you flip that to something opposite that will serve you and will create that positive momentum to like,

Actually,

I could be really good at sales if I wanted to give myself permission to do that,

Or actually selling is just serving or,

You know,

My ideal soulmate clients really want to hear what I have to say,

And they want to find out how to work with me.

So of course,

Selling is just sharing my magic and like invitations,

Right?

So if you begin with your thoughts and begin shifting those,

You'll already begin to see kind of like the power of mindset,

And the ripple effects that it can have.

And like you mentioned earlier on my website,

I have some different things to support people with and I have I love journaling.

That was my first entry point because you know,

We have these thoughts and emotions just spinning around in our head and,

And in our body and when we can take a moment to put pen to paper,

And tune in and journal things out,

We begin to see it differently and we begin to disidentify from the truth of some of the beliefs that we believe that don't serve us.

So from there,

We can begin to take our power back and begin shifting them in ways that do support us.

Wonderful.

I love that.

And well,

I also want to say thank you for the acknowledgement and sweet things that you said.

I appreciate that.

And I think those tools are really helpful that you gave those suggestions.

And I also love how you said,

Even if you're reading the book with your neighbor,

You know what I mean?

Like that can still,

It's going to get uncomfortable,

But if you're reading it with a buddy,

Any,

Once you make the decision to do it,

It's so much easier to push through the hard days than if you're just like,

Well,

Maybe I'll try.

Because as soon as you,

If you say I try,

Then as soon as it gets harder and comfortable,

You're like,

Nah,

I tried,

So I'm done.

Right?

I'm going to do it.

Then you're going to do it.

Yep.

Yeah,

Exactly.

That reminds me too of like,

You know,

In our society,

We kind of,

We at least know this on the physical level,

Right?

When you eat healthy and you exercise,

You're nourishing and fueling your body.

So you get rewarded with vitality and strength to like,

You know,

Pick up your kid,

Right?

Like I remember when my daughter was born,

That was like,

Oh,

I want to work out my arm muscles because she's going to continue to weigh more and I want to be able to carry her.

Right.

But I think that our next evolution as a society gets to be around,

Like,

You know,

Kind of thinking about like that mental and emotional and energetic fitness.

And like you said,

When we have that support and accountability,

We get to do it together and we get to become the ones that are in our power and we're not being overrun by like,

Oh,

I'll try.

Which,

Which by the way,

Like what even is try?

Like you're not going to try and pick up your cup of water either you do or you don't.

Right.

So I think when you,

When you can have those realizations,

That's when you're setting yourself up for success and that's the first place to start.

I love that.

So good.

And you mentioned hypnosis,

Like self-hypnosis.

So I'm wondering if we could just talk about that for a minute because I know that people can have an understanding of self-hypnosis that isn't actually accurate with what self-hypnosis actually is and self-hypnosis when it comes to like the power of your mind and your emotions and energy and your thoughts and your limiting beliefs and all that stuff is way,

Way different than stage hypnosis,

Right?

Stage hypnosis is for entertainment and a good time.

And everyone who comes on stage wants to be a part of that entertainment and all that stuff.

So that is completely different than the self-hypnosis that we're going to be referring to.

So Alicia,

Can you share a little bit how you've noticed and I guess just your experience around like self-hypnosis and the power behind it?

Yeah,

That's such a good point too.

And I love that you brought that up around like stage hypnosis.

Like I tend to forget and actually in the retreat,

I had a similar conversation.

She mentioned that I'm like,

Oh,

That's a thing.

Like I forget,

You know?

So for me,

That's been such a powerful tool and actually,

You know,

Like I shared,

I first got started with Tony Robbins,

Who does like NLP techniques and,

You know,

There's just so much that he does.

But then after that,

As I continued to evolve,

So actually I got into online marketing around that same time too.

And one of our clients was in the personal development space and she did some NLP techniques and hypnosis.

And I actually got to experience that.

I was really blessed that she led me through that process.

It was just so powerful and so life-changing at the time I didn't logically understand,

But I knew,

Okay,

This is like another tool that I'm meant to have in my tool belt.

And the more I began to study it and the more I began to use it in my life,

I would just find that I was changing,

Right?

I was,

I don't want to necessarily say I was becoming a different person,

But it was like,

I was taking off all these layers that were never actually me and getting back in touch with the truth of who I was.

And then like building those internal muscles around like confidence and self-belief and being safe to be seen and being safe to express.

And I mean,

Again,

Like going back to even just being on this podcast now,

That would have terrified me before.

And using hypnosis is actually one of the ways that I built up my confidence and the trust and certainty within myself that,

Yeah,

I'm actually invaluable and yeah,

I've done the work and I think you said I've transformed my own life and not only for myself,

I know how to do this for my clients.

And not only do they see the life benefits,

But they also are able to bring in more money in their business and scale to like those 20 K months.

And part of it for me is that with hypnosis,

Right?

Part of it is going into a trance,

But every single day we're in a trance,

Right?

Like when you're driving from your house to the grocery store,

To school or somewhere that you've been a million and 10 times,

Right?

And before you know it,

But you're at the store and you don't know how you got there,

Right?

It was because you went into a form of a trance,

Right?

You're on that autopilot or even with TV,

Right?

We get sucked in and we get into this trance state.

And so when we think about it like that,

I think it kind of makes it not quite as scary.

And we can also remember that like,

Nobody can make you do anything you don't want to do when you're in that trance space or when you're in hypnosis,

Right?

But we get to guide ourselves and direct our mind and our thoughts and our emotions and energetic patterns in a way that serve us,

Right?

So for me,

Again,

Going back to like knowing that I had an opportunity for growth around like building my self-confidence,

I was able to use hypnosis to kind of speak to my subconscious,

Right?

Which is like actually what's really running the show and release some of those fears,

But also really build up,

Like find that space in my body where I feel certainty and really connect with that.

And then also visualize and think about in the future,

How will I be acting?

What would I be saying?

How would I be breathing?

How would I be standing?

You know,

If I was that version of myself that was confident enough to express,

Right?

And,

And the using hypnosis in that way has just,

To me,

It kind of feels like magic and like so effortless,

Right?

You just get to like lie back and pop this in your ears and like,

Let it go to work and then,

You know,

Come out of the session and before you know it,

Like you're transformed,

You have your one step closer,

You've built up your confidence muscle a little bit more,

You know,

Whatever it is you're working towards.

Like,

So for example,

I have,

Like,

I just recorded a hypnosis around selling and reminding you like the truth that selling gets to be easy and it gets to come from a space of service and love and,

And that type of thing.

So it's just,

It's,

It's one of my favorite tools and it just,

Like I said,

It feels so effortless and I love that,

Especially because we can get caught up in like,

You know,

Checking things off our to do list or need to create content.

It's also kind of like the space where you get to just lie down.

That's how I love to do it.

You can do it sitting or you know,

Whatever and just relax and get into alignment with the truth or like,

You know,

Like the possibility that's available for you and then choose that and then go and take action from it because you're in alignment with it.

I love that.

And I love how you,

You shared about trance and stuff.

I feel like I'm hearing myself talking to people because,

And also,

So it made me think about too,

Well,

A couple of things that I think when you actually do use hypnosis,

You're kind of underwhelmed because you think you're,

You're setting yourself up for this,

Like big scary thing.

And then when you go,

You're like,

Oh,

I just laid here and listened to you,

Tell me a story that was like really relaxing that I just visualize myself.

Like I thought you were going to like,

Make me tell you things.

I thought,

You know,

They're,

They're so curious about what's going to happen that it's really like,

Um,

So usually I say,

If this is your very first time doing a hypnosis,

Your curiosity might prevent you from relaxing as much as you can,

But the more you do it,

The more effective it can be because you're allowing yourself,

You know,

To expect and it's like,

So relaxing.

People are usually like,

Oh my gosh,

I've never been so relaxed in my life.

So it really is a treat that you're doing for yourself.

And I love how you said like,

It's effortless,

You know,

It feels very effortless because you're just going and your subconscious is either going to accept or reject the suggestions.

And,

You know,

It's just such a cool tool.

It's one of my favorites also.

I absolutely love it.

And when you talked about trance,

It made me think about,

And since you've also been talking about Tony Robbins since he was under Jim Rohn,

Right.

And Jim Rohn always talked about the five people in your life.

And I love how you talked about like when you're in trends watching TV or something.

So I also like to think that it's,

And maybe you agree with me or not,

But that's why it's so important.

What you're filling your day with what you're reading,

What you're watching,

What you're listening to,

Because you like,

You're taking that all in on just not a conscious level,

But also a subconscious level.

So it's helping you form your beliefs of yourself and your world and all that stuff,

Depending on what you're filling your date with.

So I like to think of your five people,

Not only just being like who you're hanging out with,

But what are you actually spending your time doing,

Listening to,

You know,

All that sort of stuff.

Yes.

I love that.

And I,

I so totally agree.

And actually it's one of the patterns that I find with my clients is that they tend to,

You know,

Wake up and right away,

They're checking their email or they're checking their social media or answering,

You know,

PMs or DMs or whatever it is.

And so they're automatically starting their day from a place of reaction and trying to conform to other people's expectations.

And also if you do that right away,

When you wake up,

Right,

You're still,

That's when your brain is in that most suggestible state as well.

So you're already programming your subconscious and reinforcing that like,

No,

I can't actually trust myself or set boundaries or like take care of myself or I need to react and take care of everyone else.

Right.

Which,

You know,

Just creates like depletion and disconnection and we could go on for like the millions of ripple effects of that.

Right.

But that's one of the first areas that we work with is like creating that time and space to connect with yourself and your soul and actually choose what you want to think and what you want to feel and what actions you want to take and,

And who you would be and how you would embody those things in order to align with the results that you want to manifest.

And that's when like you begin to see the momentum change and the synchronicities and coincidence,

Coincidence show up in your life.

And,

And again,

Like I just said,

It feels like magic,

Right?

Because you're,

Like you said,

The,

That whole concept of like the five people,

You're actively choosing to align with what you want,

Rather than like letting the world and outside circumstances scatter your energy and pull you in a million different directions that you may or may not want to go.

Yes.

Love that.

And Alicia,

Can you,

Just cause I notice you also do intuitive reading.

So anybody who's interested in that or have,

You know,

Maybe they've seen that or heard about it,

But they're not really sure what it is.

Could you take a moment to kind of share what an intuitive reading is and how that's helpful?

Yeah.

That's interesting.

So I definitely integrate that.

And like one of the tools that I use when I'm working one-on-one with my clients or like group programs and things like that.

But for me,

It's really just about tapping into my intuition and kind of like I had mentioned earlier on about when I become clear and aligned and attained with my soul,

I can be a vessel for the universe to express itself.

And so the more that I've gotten to know myself and,

You know,

Kind of clean out like the mind clutter or the self-sabotaging patterns and things like that,

I've discovered that one of my natural spiritual gifts is being able to read the energy of what's alive and someone's,

Someone's vortex or their aura,

I guess you would want to call it.

And so from there I can kind of tune in.

And so,

You know,

If the way I typically use it with my clients is like,

If they're,

You know,

Getting ready to launch something,

I can kind of go into their energy field and feel what's in alignment.

And then we can take that and amplify it.

And I can give practical advice of like,

Oh yeah,

This is in your energy field.

Like it's a seed.

I can feel it really strongly.

We,

Practically speaking,

You know,

You may want to map out these types of email sequences or this type of launch flow,

Or actually it feels to me like you have a fear of being seen.

So like what's going on there.

And then we can dive in and pull some of these other tools in because,

You know,

It might not be something that they've even been acknowledging or they've had fear around like,

How did they,

They work with that fear,

Right?

And if we don't address that,

Then that's just going to sabotage in the launch later on or not getting them the results that they potentially could if we just addressed it.

So that's,

That's kind of like the basis.

For me,

It's really fluid when I work with my clients,

You know,

We,

Because I have a background in online marketing,

Right?

Like I love to use the practical strategies,

But use it intuitively.

And also,

Like I mentioned in the beginning,

Take a look at like their Genkeys profiles and,

And feel into the frequencies.

Yeah.

So I really incorporate a bunch of different tools and sometimes it's Genkeys,

Human Design.

Sometimes it's like Oracle cards.

You know,

Sometimes it's just feeling into the energy of what's alive in their aura and just being there to support them through that and make sure it's in alignment with the outcome that they actually desire.

Hmm.

I love that.

And I love that you're able to find a way to combine all these tools and all of your knowledge together to help people feel like what they're pouring their time into their passion,

Their heart into is actually going to reach people and have results and provide them with that feeling of fulfillment and that they're actually,

You know,

Tapping into their purpose and seeing results from it because it can be like,

Right when you get in that moment and you're like,

Oh,

But I'm doing this,

I'm putting this launch out,

But it's not working.

No one's seeing it.

No one's participating.

Ah,

Am I doing the wrong thing?

And then you start like that,

You know,

Kind of that snowball effect of going away from your goal.

So,

Yeah,

Yeah.

Thank you.

It's been a journey of integrating it all and then my own experiments along the way.

So it's nice to,

To be at a point where I'm like,

Oh,

Okay.

Well actually it's just this tool.

It's just like we were building a house.

Sometimes you need a hammer.

Sometimes you need a screw.

Sometimes you need a plumber to come in,

You know?

So just kind of learning to integrate that all to build what you want consciously.

Hmm.

I love that.

So good.

And okay.

Now I just have some questions that I like to ask everyone who's on.

Okay.

Okay.

So Alicia,

What is something that you think is underrated?

Oh,

That's a good question.

Yeah.

I guess like essentially everything we've talked about today,

I can find myself getting a really passionate,

Like just wind is shake society wig.

Like why don't you see the power of like your mindset and energy?

I think that's currently very underrated.

Okay.

I love that.

And just as a side note,

I'm wondering when it comes to,

Like manifesting and the law of attraction and the law of action,

Is there a specific go to emotion that we want to tap into?

That's a great question.

So when I work with people,

I really love to customize things,

Especially when we take a look at your gene keys profile,

Because that really has like the blueprint of the energetics for manifesting and being in complete alignment with your higher self.

So typically,

You know,

I would like a somebody's chart and support them in aligning with,

With their soul blueprint.

But generally speaking,

I don't think you can go wrong if you get into that space of gratitude.

And like you had mentioned earlier too,

Just even around my story,

When I,

For me,

When I think about getting into gratitude,

I get into gratitude for everything that's happened in the past,

Whether it's,

You know,

Whether it's been traumatic and painful,

Like you said,

It's,

It's helped me get to where I'm at today.

And it's a part of me,

But it's also not where I live and spend time anymore,

But I can see kind of how it helped me strengthen that muscle or helped me in the way that I support my clients now.

So I make sure to get into that space of gratitude for,

For things in the past and then gratitude for what I presently have going on in this current moment,

Right?

Like even the fact that I,

I have my voice,

Like health enough that I can be speaking to you right now,

And my ears can hear what you have to say,

And that I'm open to receive like your beautiful energy and this invitation to be on the podcast.

And,

You know,

We could just go on and on there.

But then also,

I think third piece of that gratitude is getting into a space of gratitude for,

For what it is that you're calling into your,

Your next present moment,

Right?

So,

You know,

In other ways,

It has like your future.

So,

You know,

If you're,

Your goal is to bring in one more client this week and getting into that space of gratitude,

And how you'll feel in your body,

The thoughts that you'll be thinking,

And just marinating in that,

Or,

And,

You know,

Even adding like the visuals and audios and everything in for this new soul that you get to,

To exchange energy with and dance with and support and doing it from a place of certainty as if it's already done.

So yeah,

That gratitude is a big one.

I love that.

So I love also that you'll work with people for their own individual emotion and energy to tap into.

But just in general,

Gratitude is a great one to start with.

However,

That's really fascinating to know that,

You know,

There also could be other emotions for you specifically to tap into.

That's really cool.

And,

Alicia,

What is something you wish everyone knew?

Yeah,

This is like another one of those things.

I'm like,

There's so many I could talk for like 17 hours,

But I guess what's coming up for me right now is this around like giving yourself permission to have more joy and pleasure and flow in your life and business.

I think that especially in the business world,

And so I don't I don't actually have a background in corporate but I know a lot of people do right and from what I understand that's not always a pleasant experience.

It's,

You know,

Usually why they're leaving it and there can be a lot of things that feel really hard or icky or like it's compromised and I find that people tend to take that into their business and assume that this is how it has to be in my business too.

There's all these old paradigms that,

Yes,

If you wanted to,

I guess you could keep making things harder for yourself and,

You know,

Feeling like you have to hustle and burn yourself out and like this business is draining you or,

You know,

Not fulfilling like you mentioned,

But it's that I wish more people knew it doesn't have to be that way and it all starts with you and you get to decide if you want to run a business that provides you time,

Freedom,

And more than enough money and you get to do it in alignment with what your soul came here to do.

So it's incredibly fulfilling and you can create content from a space of joy and you can add more pleasure into like the way that you launch and like you just you have a choice and you have the power to do that and I wish more people would recognize that and then like you said,

Practically apply it and give themselves permission to create a new reality what that looks like for themselves.

I love that.

And do you have a book that you like to recommend to people?

Oh my gosh,

I'm such a book nerd.

Like I'm literally surrounded by books all the time and have so many on my Kindle and again,

Like I'm such an individual type of person that I guess I just tap into their energy.

But I will say,

So I road tripped to the retreat and I was listening to Pussy,

A Reclamation on audiobooks and I was like,

I'm not going to do that.

I'm going to do an audiobook and I think I definitely think that would be a book that could bring up a lot of different emotions and things for people but also could be very helpful as well.

You know,

Just learning to trust yourself and recognizing the beauty in being a female.

I think that sometimes,

You know,

As a society we get so much programming around not being able to lean into our feminine energy and thinking that we're not as worthy as men and especially as business owners when we can decommission some of that and remember that again,

We deserve to have that pleasure and we can create it for ourselves.

I think that will open the next stage of awakening on the planet and that's an interesting book right now that I'm working my way through and even though I might not necessarily agree with every little thing she says,

I think there are a lot of golden nuggets and I think that we also have the power to take what we like and leave the rest and kind of come and go with that type of information with where we are in our journey.

Love it.

I know I've heard that book mentioned a couple times so I think it's one that I'm going to have to add to my reading list because I have yet to read it.

It's incredibly interesting.

I started it on Kindle probably a year or two ago and I was not quite ready for the message yet and doing my own internal work now,

I'm like,

Yes,

Okay.

I understand a little bit more.

I'm ready for this next stage of healing and implementing on a whole new level.

I love that too how sometimes we could read a book and we're like,

Oh,

And then we read it later and we're like,

Oh.

Yeah.

Exactly.

It's really fascinating.
