I believe that opening minds and hearts to the benefits of a mindfulness practice is a welcome and significant benefit to the human experience. Mindfulness belongs as one component of how we work to improve our lives and deal with the stresses and challenges of life. These mindful practices should always complement the skills and expertise that modern medicine, therapy and technology has to offer us.
Inner warmth when you find the joy within which i describe as an inner wellspring of peace and happiness you discover that your body's charged with an electrical current the life energy which brings vitality and connectivity with others you emanate the inner wellspring through a lightness of being producing an inner warmth which radiates outwards to others to produce this inner warmth we visualize the color that is reminiscent of all that is in nature to make our heartbeat match the beat of the universe the color is green imagine the color green which carries a soothing and uplifting energy the green of soft grass under feet the green of soft grass under feet as you imagine the color green in your awareness become aware of how much calmer you are feeling your mouth is relaxed and you raise a smile you feel the spine lengthen your arms relax your abdomen gently relaxes your legs relax and you feel the close contact of your feet on the ground see the color green in your mind's eye and feel it's calm bring your attention to your breath and note your breathing pattern a gentle rise and fall of your chest soothing the air of your body and note your breathing pattern a gentle rise and fall of your chest soothing beat of your heart and you feel yourself relax even more so take a gentle but deep breath in and out and release any tension relaxing even further breathing in and releasing tension on the out breath so see the color green in your mind's eye and breathe it in and feel the green light fill the chest and silently think to yourself i take in peace and love i am relaxed so breathing in the color green feeling it fill your chest and on the breath out silently repeat i take in peace and love i am relaxed so breathing in the green breathing out the green expanding and relaxing in your chest so feel your body relax more deeply as you focus on your breath feel your chest your abdomen and the base of your spine becoming warmer and more vibrant feel that inner warmth as the green light moves within the body breathing in the green energy feel it in your feet and your legs feel the warmth pulsating from your lower spine and the lightness in your abdomen radiating the green light from the upper body and the lightness in your abdomen radiating the green light from the chest and feel the softness of the healing energy as you become at one with nature so nature gently soothes your heart area i am relaxing i fill myself with peace and love and warmth rest quietly and enjoy the warmth radiating within you nurturing you filling you you breathe in the warmth of the green light in and out so so slowly begin to bring your attention to your body and you feel your feet on the ground earthing you you bring your attention to this moment and you feel the inner glow of warmth peace and vibrancy coursing throughout the whole of your body you become aware of your position seated on the chair or lying and you take that inner warmth and that vibrancy out into the world and you radiate that warmth to others you have filled yourself and you can now share it knowing that when you need more you simply have to close your eyes and imagine a scene in nature taking in that vibrant green light and now you open your eyes you take a deep breath you feel yourself centered you feel your heart space open and you move forward through your day in lightness and in love so you
