
Creating Inner Harmony
This meditation helps to create harmony in mind and body. Once we create harmony in our inner world it will show up in the outer world.
Transcript
Welcome to the Inner Harmony Guided Relaxation.
Lay on your back,
Maybe find a pillow or cushion for support underneath your knees and cover yourself with a blanket as needed,
Ensuring that you will not be disturbed for the next 10 minutes or so.
This relaxation is designed to bring harmony to your mind and your heart.
When we create inner harmony in our minds and in our hearts,
We will find it in our lives.
The inner creates the outer,
Always.
So allowing yourself to relax now,
To let this relaxation begin.
Allowing the body to crown down into the support of Mother Earth.
Feeling the body settling.
Allowing the outside of the world just to drift away for the duration of this practice.
Allowing the body to relax.
Allowing the shoulders to soften.
Tension to melt away.
Allowing the neck to relax.
Allowing all the muscles in the face to relax.
Soften your jaw.
Relax the belly.
And as your belly and body becomes more relaxed,
Allowing that breath to deepen and lengthen.
Just taking a couple of deeper breaths.
Deep,
Expansive inhales.
Filling up your lungs completely.
And then holding the breath on the top just for a little moment.
And then exhaling completely,
Maybe even through a sigh out of the mouth.
And just doing that a couple of times.
Inhaling through the nose.
And holding the breath just for a moment.
Collecting any busyness,
Unsettledness,
Restlessness,
Any worries or cares.
Collecting them all.
And then exhaling them all out in a deep sigh through the mouth.
And just do that one more time.
And then allowing that breath to return to normal.
Finding your natural breath as the body relaxes more.
Feeling every muscle in your body softening.
Allowing every inch of your skin to relax.
Every cell relaxing from the crown of the head to the tips of the toes.
Relaxing your legs,
Buttocks and hips,
The torso,
The spine,
Your arms and your head.
Allow that brain to soften.
Can you relax inside your head?
Letting it all go.
Allowing yourself to melt and soften.
Knowing that you are safe.
And as you become more and more relaxed here,
Taking a little journey of awareness through the body.
So I want you to imagine your body like the night sky.
As we go through different body parts,
Imagine there are stars on each body part we stop.
And through that we are creating a beautiful constellation of stars on the night sky of your body.
So visualising that expansive dark blue spacious night sky.
And focus on the area just in between the eyebrows and visualising a star shining there in the night sky of your body.
And moving the awareness to the area just in between the collar bones.
The star shines there.
And then seeing stars shining one at the right shoulder.
Moving down to the inside of the right elbow there is a star.
And another star off the inside of the right wrist.
Little stars shining at the tip of each finger of that right hand.
Thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger and little finger.
And moving back up to the wrist.
Seeing the star on the inside of the right elbow and the right shoulder.
Coming back to the centre.
The star in between your collar bones.
And moving to the left shoulder.
Seeing a star shining there and then down to the left elbow.
And then down to the inside of that left wrist.
Little stars shining in a lining at the end of each finger.
The thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger and little finger.
And then back through the palm of the hand,
The wrist,
The elbow and the shoulder and back to the centre of the collar bones.
And then moving down to that navel centre.
Seeing a star shining there and then down to the area just behind the pubic bone.
A star shines there.
Moving to the right hip.
Seeing a bright star shining there.
Illuminating that whole area.
Moving down to the right knee.
Down to the right ankle.
And then little stars at the end of each toe.
The big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe and fifth toe.
And then up to that star in the ankle.
Up to the one on the knee and the right hip.
Back to the centre in between the pubic bones and then to the left side,
The left hip.
A star in the left knee.
The inside of that left ankle.
And at the end of each toe.
Big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe and fifth toe.
And then up to the inside of that ankle,
To the knee,
To the hip.
Back to the centre in between the pubic bones and then up to that navel centre and up to the area between the collar bones and then up to the centre in between the eyebrows.
And then there's another star shining at the crown of the head.
Illuminating that head space with calm energy,
With harmony.
And I'm moving back down again to that eyebrow centre and then down to the area in between the collar bones.
And then there's a very bright star,
The brightest star of the whole constellation and that star shines at the centre of your heart.
Visualising that star illuminating your entire being with a light of wisdom.
And just lay there resting for a couple of moments illuminated by the wisdom of your heart.
Laying here completely relaxed at pace.
Body is relaxed,
Your mind is relaxed.
When you create harmony in your mind and in your heart,
You'll find it in your life.
The inner creates the outer always.
Just repeating silently in your mind that affirmation,
I am creating harmony in my heart and in my mind.
And as I do that,
I will find harmony in my life.
I know that the inner creates the outer always.
All is well,
All is well.
I know that through that relaxation you're bringing harmony into your life.
So when you get up from this meditation,
A couple of moments,
You will feel different.
You feel that sense of peace and harmony.
And just approach the rest of your day from that new vantage point,
Feeling calm and peaceful,
Energised and clear.
So when you're ready,
You can take some deeper breaths and maybe start to wiggle those fingers and toes to awaken that body and maybe take that big stretch with the arms overhead from the tips of the fingers to the tips of the toes.
And when you're ready,
Go back into your day.
