Let's take a moment now to bring all of our focus and attention on observing the breath,
Watching the breath.
Just taking a deep breath in now and on your exhale just feeling the natural rise and fall of the belly as you inhale and as you exhale.
Inhaling to the very peak and exhaling to the very bottom and feeling the sensations of breath.
Now bringing your entire concentration on noticing the gaps that exist between the breath.
Come aware of the stillness on top of the inhale and the bottom of the exhale and really focus on the gaps and let the mind soften and be still.
I want you to set an intention for today's practice,
Something you would like to receive from doing this practice.
Perhaps to be more centered and balanced or perhaps to be more at peace with yourself or having a more positive outlook in life.
Or perhaps you want to send healing and love to a loved one.
Whatever that intention is,
Please set that now.
Now witnessing and observing the emotions,
The mind,
The thoughts and how you feel is your mind active and how is the quality of your breath?
Perhaps you feel tense,
Perhaps you feel the tension and strains in the body.
Bringing your awareness now to the sounds of the heart beating or the blood flowing through the body.
Is your heart beating fast or slow?
Just bringing your focus now on the heart center for a moment.
Now releasing any negative energy you were holding onto that no longer serves you.
Just releasing that now.
And any thoughts,
Emotions,
Sensations and experiences,
Allowing them to come and go,
But holding no attachment to them.
And each and every time a thought or experience arises,
Just notice it and allow it to come and go.
Softening and sinking deeper within.
Imagine a ball of energy rising up from the earth.
A pink,
Bright,
Radiant light that is slowly moving into your body from the ground upwards.
As it rises,
You feel a sense of calmness.
Your body feels lighter,
Free of any negativity,
Heaviness,
Strains and tensions.
As the pink light travels further and closer to your heart space,
You feel a warming sensation,
A safe,
Nurturing wave of energy lighting you up,
Giving you a feeling of content,
Peace and happiness.
A loving feeling building up inside of you.
Just being in the moment now,
Being in the very present and being at peace with yourself.
Just radiating outwards a love you are receiving and sending it to the people who are close in your heart and having gratitude for where you are at in your life and remembering every day is a new day.
Slowly and gently bringing your awareness now back to the sounds around you one by one.
Coming back to your physical body,
Sitting on the ground and just taking small movements now,
Perhaps to the toes or the fingers and on your next inhale,
Taking the arms over the head and stretching them towards the sky and as you exhale,
Just bringing them back besides your body and gradually opening your eyes.
