This meditation is intended to bring about a state of pure joy.
You can use this meditation at any time that you just need to uplift,
Let go of the grey clouds and find more joy in your day.
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable seat.
Lengthen your spine and take a deep breath in.
Begin to turn your gaze inward as you just connect with your breath.
Exhale completely.
As you continue to breathe,
Lengthen your breath on each inhale to exhale.
Each inhale brings vibrant new energy and each exhale clears away all the grey clouds that may be present.
Begin to imagine the brightest blue sky appearing with each breath.
As grey clouds,
Imagine yourself standing strong,
Standing outside in the most beautiful scene.
The sky and it is blue,
The brightest blue.
You begin to feel an energy within your body that is uplifted.
Breathe in the fresh air.
Feel a smile coming onto your face as you take in the scene around you.
You see this beautiful nature that surrounds you.
There is green everywhere,
Trees.
You hear the bubbling of a stream going by,
Birds singing in the distance.
The air smells like the freshness right after a rain.
And as you breathe in this fresh air,
Feel the energy shifting in your body.
Begin to feel uplifted,
Joyful,
And free.
See yourself skipping across the rocks in the stream.
Find that playful spirit you might have had as a child.
Perhaps it's climbing.
Allow yourself to let go and just play.
As you do,
You feel the smile across your face.
Your eyes are sparkling.
Breathe it in.
Soak in this feeling of pure joy,
This playful spirit that lives within you.
Imagine yourself going through the rest of your day with this feeling of joy.
