This mediation is intended to bring you into a deep state of relaxation in order to feel rejuvenated and counter the effects of constant stress on the body. When we are under constant stress, our bodies are flooded with cortisol and adrenaline. The long-term effect of this is exhaustion. Research has shown that twenty minutes of deep meditation can feel like 2 hours of sleep! Doing this deep relaxation meditation regularly can work to counter the effects of stress on our physical, emotional, and energetic bodies. This is one of my favorite meditations to do at the end of the workday. It will leave you feeling energized, rejuvenated, and ready to enjoy the rest of your day. Hello,

Friends.

This meditation is intended to bring you into a deep,

Deep state of relaxation,

Leaving you feeling completely rejuvenated and energized.

It is for those times when you feel completely depleted from the buildup of stress and you need a deep rest.

I recommend doing this meditation lying down in a comfortable position where you will not be disturbed.

You may like a pillow under your knees for support or even underneath your head.

And I highly recommend using an eye mask to get the most benefit.

I love doing this meditation at the end of a work day.

It energizes me for the rest of the evening and is just so rejuvenating.

I hope you enjoy it.

Let's begin.

We'll begin by just taking a deep foundational breath,

Maybe placing a hand right on the heart and at the bottom of your ribs.

Taking a deep breath in through the nose and exhale,

Again,

Taking a deep breath in through the nose,

Filling the belly,

The chest and the head and exhaling it out completely.

One last time.

As you continue to connect with your breath,

Just bringing your awareness to your heart,

Breathing into the heart and breathing out.

Allow my voice to be your anchor and your guide.

We'll set our intention for deep rejuvenation to feel completely energized and vibrant again.

Setting this intention with an I am statement.

I am completely energized and vibrant.

I am filled with energy and light.

I spread light everywhere I go.

Return your awareness to your breath,

Breathing in and breathing out.

And as you continue with these deep rejuvenating breaths,

Allow your body to settle.

Letting your arms and legs settle into the surface that you're laying on.

We'll gently bring our awareness to each part of our body,

One by one.

No need to change anything.

Just follow my guidance.

This will bring you deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation.

Beginning with the right thumb.

Just gently bringing your awareness to your right thumb.

Your right middle finger.

Your ring finger.

Your pinky.

The palm of your right hand.

The back of the hand.

Your right wrist.

Your right forearm.

Your right shoulder.

The right side of your chest and ribs.

The right waist.

The right hip.

The right thigh.

The right knee.

The right calf.

Your ankle.

The top of the foot.

The sole of the foot.

The entire right side of your body.

Your left pointer.

Your left middle finger.

Your left ring finger.

The front of the palm.

The back of the hand.

Your whole left hand.

The left wrist.

The forearm.

The upper arm.

The left shoulder.

The left ribs.

The left waist.

The left hip.

The left calf.

The left ankle.

The top of the foot.

The sole of the foot.

The toes.

Your whole left foot.

The entire left leg.

The left side of your body.

The right side of your body.

The space between the eyebrows.

Your ears.

Your cheeks.

Your jaw.

Your eyes.

The throat.

The chest.

The space around your heart.

The stomach.

The space surrounding your diaphragm.

The space surrounding your digestive tract.

The pelvic floor.

The front of the body.

The back of the body.

Allowing now your entire body to begin to feel a heaviness.

Allowing your entire body to fill with light with each breath.

Taking a deep breath in as if breathing in a vibrant light and that light swirls throughout your body and then you exhale.

Imagine breathing in from the soles of the feet and all the way back down again like a soft wave that brings vibrant energy to every part of you.

Breathing in light from the bottoms of the feet all the way up the length of the spine to the crown of the head.

Filling your body,

Every single cell,

With light.

And exhaling it back out.

Begin to notice places in your body that feel heavy.

Imagine what it would feel like to feel light.

To feel bright.

Feel the heaviness of relaxation.

Feel the lightness in your heart.

The heaviness of relaxation.

The lightness of your heart.

Of your heart.

Begin to visualize the brightest light clearing out any heaviness anything dark.

I am light.

I am pure.

I am vibrant and energized.

Visualize yourself now moving through your day with this vibrant energy.

Feeling so rejuvenated.

Breathing in light allowing it to brush away any darkness,

Any heaviness rejuvenating every single cell.

Imagine this light as if it is a wave that washes over you washes away stress and tension.

Allow yourself now a deep rest.

A deep quiet.

Just listening for the sound of my voice to pull you back out again.

The awareness of our physical space beginning to feel the fingers,

The toes right just starting to wake up knowing that when you come back to full awareness you will feel so rejuvenated and filled with energy a new vibrancy Perhaps beginning to circle the wrists and the ankles stretching the arms above your head Take a deep breath in here together and hold all the way at the top and then exhale it out Let's do one more just like that,

Nice deep breath in hold at the top and exhale it out Gently rolling to one side just allowing your body to neutralize here on your side and very slowly gradually coming up to seated,

Letting your head come last Keeping the eyes closed,

We'll take the mask off the eye mask and then slowly gradually when you're ready you can blink your eyes open Perhaps bringing a hand to the heart and one to the belly just taking a nice breath in here and exhaling Take a deep breath in here and notice how you feel Begin to feel the corners of your mouth lifting up in a nice smile Imagine a brightness radiating from all around you as you go through the rest of your day feeling rejuvenated rested and vibrant Thank you so much for practicing with me
