Hello and welcome.
My name is Tina Stinson and I want to thank you for joining me for this Perfect Day meditation.
Let's find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down,
And gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,
Let go of any tension in your body and allow yourself to fully arrive in this moment.
Focusing on your breath,
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Filling your lungs,
Expanding your belly,
And hold at the top for a second,
And now exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any stress or worry.
Let's do that a few more times.
Breathing in through the nose,
Filling that belly as much as you can,
Expanding your chest,
Hold at the top,
Exhale,
Relax even deeper.
One more time,
Breathing in,
Hold at the top,
And exhale.
Now bring your awareness to the points of contact between your body and the surface that you're on.
Feel the support beneath you,
Grounding you to the earth.
Imagine roots extending from your feet,
Deep into the ground,
Anchoring you firmly and securely.
With each breath,
Feel the stability,
The support,
And the strength of the earth connecting to you,
Grounding you in this present moment.
Let's now shift our focus to your heart center.
Place your hands over your heart if that feels comfortable.
Take a moment to feel the warmth and the energy in this space.
Now think of three things that you're grateful for.
These could be simple things like the warmth of the sun,
The air you breathe,
Or the people in your life.
Allow yourself to fully experience the feeling of gratitude.
As you acknowledge each one,
Silently say,
Thank you,
And feel and imagine your heart expanding with love and appreciation.
Let this gratitude fill your entire being,
Uplifting your spirit and opening you up to more positive energy.
Now I want you to begin to visualize your day ahead.
Picture yourself moving through your day with ease and joy,
Your morning,
Your afternoon,
Going into nighttime.
See yourself accomplishing your tasks effortlessly,
Interacting with others with kindness and compassion,
And enjoying moments of peace and happiness.
Seeing everything unfolding perfectly,
Just as you desire.
Visualize all the positive outcomes you wish to have that day.
Feel the emotions associated with these successes,
Joy,
Contentment,
Pride,
And fulfillment.
Let these feelings wash over you,
Reinforcing your belief in a day full of promise and positivity.
To anchor in this state of mind and this energy throughout the day,
Repeat the following affirmations either silently or out loud.
I am grounded,
Centered,
And secure.
I am grateful for all the positive things in my life.
Today I choose joy,
Positivity,
And love.
I am capable of handling whatever comes my way.
I attract good things into my life.
Take another deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your belly,
Expanding your chest.
Hold at the top.
As you exhale through your mouth,
I want you to allow these affirmations to sink deep into your subconscious and your body,
And know that you can return to these words and this state whenever you need throughout the day.
When you feel ready,
Bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Maybe wiggle your toes and your feet,
Your hands,
Your fingers.
Slowly open your eyes.
Take a moment to stretch out and acknowledge the positive energy that you cultivated.
Carry this sense of grounding,
The gratitude,
And the positivity with you as you go about your day.
