Welcome to day 7 of Perfect Week,
7 part program designed to support your everyday well-being.
Now that we are approaching the end of this program,
I invite you to reflect on the journey that you have taken so far.
In day 1 you reconnected with the natural source of your vitality.
In day 2 you gathered courage to face your inner critic.
In day 3 you explored stillness and your true self.
In day 4 you discovered the power of vulnerability.
In day 5 you learned the role of self-acceptance in personal growth.
In day 6 you said yes to all your thoughts,
Emotions and feelings.
For the last episode I have chosen an important topic of intention.
Behind every decision you make,
Behind every action there is an elusive driving force called intention.
In words of Wayne Dyer,
Intention is an inner awareness that we explicitly feel and yet at the same time cannot truly describe with words.
Scientists discovered that by using the power of intention one may change the outcome of quantum events,
Phenomenon famously described in the double slit experiment.
Caught up in daily tasks,
We often forget that we were given an immense power to shape this reality and participate in the process of creation.
Every time we sit to meditate we sharpen the ability to focus our intention.
Our brain changes itself in response to this new state of awareness.
Scientific literature refers to this quality as brain plasticity.
Most of the time our attention is scattered and we unconsciously react to the world around us.
However,
Through a systematic practice our perception changes and so our ability to respond to the reality around us.
We act out of wisdom rather than pre-programmed instincts.
In order to capture this elusive force Wayne Dyer described in his book The Seven Faces of Intention,
Namely creativity,
Love,
Kindness,
Beauty,
Expansion,
Abundance and receptivity.
Today I'd like to invite you to reflect on those seven faces of intention.
Today in this last episode please join me in this simple visualization in which I will guide you through those seven faces.
Are you ready?
Begin by making yourself comfortable.
You may listen to this meditation either lying down,
Sitting on a meditation cushion or in a chair.
Choose a position that is suitable for you and in which you feel comfortable.
When sitting make sure that your back is straight but not rigid,
Allowing unrestricted flow of your breath.
Hands resting in your lap.
Your feet on the floor giving you support,
Centering you.
Allow your eyes to close.
Recognize the environment around you.
The sounds.
Smells.
Perhaps movement of air on your skin.
This is your space and you are a co-creator of this reality.
Feel safe,
Secure and protected.
I'm here with you to hold this space when you need me.
Now you decided,
Made an intention to spend this short period of time exploring,
Getting to know thyself better.
This is a good time to reaffirm this commitment and fully engage with this meditation.
As you getting into the zone from which you can create,
Let us take a couple of deeper breaths so we can settle down in this space.
Breathe in through your nose deeply and breathe out through your mouth slowly as if you try to blow a balloon.
In and out.
In and out.
In and out.
Breathe normally and relax.
Feel how your muscles let go of tension and discomfort.
There's no need to do anything,
Simply allow it.
Feel the deep comfort that comes to you right now.
Now that you are comfortable,
Imagine that your intention is like a rain over the Amazonian forest,
Feeling the lake of creativity below.
Beautiful lake that is being filled with sparkling water.
Imagine how clear is this water.
So refreshing,
You may even try to splash it on your face.
This water from the lake flows through a high waterfall into a beautiful pond.
This pond down below is filled with love.
And now this liquid love.
What is the color?
Is this pond small or big?
Deep or shallow?
Let your imagination take you there.
Let it come to you.
Now imagine that liquid love once again starts flowing to yet another lake.
And when it flows,
The liquid is being transformed into a transparent kindness.
Can you feel how the love is being transformed into kindness?
How does it feel?
Give yourself a second to imagine how kindness would sound like.
Perhaps you can hear a part of your favorite song.
Now let the kindness cascade down into another lake.
This new lake representing beauty.
How does the beauty look like in your head?
Let your imagination bring an image,
Perhaps from the past.
Perhaps it's a place you visited.
Beauty may take many forms and let your imagination to take its shape in whatever comes to you.
Beauty is always unique.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
How does the beauty look to you?
How does it feel?
Does it have a shape,
A form,
Color?
Is it liquid?
Is it like a vapor?
And now beauty takes yet another form.
Beauty is transformed into the expansion of the savanna.
It flows from the lake above to wonderful plain where myriads of wild animals rest and rejuvenate.
Feel how this abundance rejuvenates all your senses,
All the cells in your body.
Feel the comfort of the sun on your skin.
Feel the freshness of a new day.
Finally when you follow this flow you reach the ocean.
Where the savanna ends there's a stream that leads all the liquid joy,
Abundance,
Love,
Kindness and is being received and accepted into entire stream of consciousness.
This is you feeding the ocean of collective creativity.
You are an important part of it and this creation wouldn't be the same without you.
Recognize the importance of you.
Recognize your uniqueness.
And now the cycles continues as the intention takes the form of creativity,
Love,
Kindness,
Creativity,
Expansion,
Abundance and empty itself into the ocean of receptivity.
You can repeat this cycle in your very unique own way.
Once again take a journey and follow this flow and see where it takes you.
Creativity,
Love,
Kindness,
Beauty,
Expansion,
Abundance,
Receptivity.
You may repeat those words quietly in your head and allow them to reveal their content to you.
Whatever comes simply allow it.
Surrender to it.
That is the meditation.
