Experiencing parental anxiety is completely normal AND we can unnecessarily feed and grow it until it becomes so much bigger than it needs to be. In this talk you will learn techniques for reducing and managing parental anxiety by: -Learning to recognize habitual thinking patterns that likely aren’t serving you or your child. -Raising awareness around when you may be problem solving for your child in an effort to sooth your own anxiety. -Reducing anxiety by practicing widening your perspective, approaching yourself and your child with greater curiosity and empathy and avoiding "catastrophizing." -Slowing down and allowing space between stimuli and reaction to reduce feeding anxiety.
