I'll invite you to find a comfortable seated position.
Allow the eyes to close gently.
And start to find your breath.
As you find your breath.
Just notice.
How you are in the present moment.
Perhaps you're just waking up or just about to start your day.
Notice how this energy feels.
And taking this moment to just connect with yourself.
Checking in with what you need.
Continue to breathe in and out through the nose.
Allowing this gentle breath to carry you,
To guide you.
Now noticing if there's any areas of tension within the body.
Maybe in the shoulders,
The hips,
The jaw.
Can you notice it?
How is the sensation like?
If you were to sit with that sensation How would you describe it?
And then gently asking yourself if that sensation can stay.
If it's okay to be there.
You Now bringing the awareness to your mind.
And just notice how the mind is doing at this moment.
The thoughts that circle around.
At different intensities throughout the day.
At different speeds,
Different paces.
And just taking this moment to check in with the mind,
With the thoughts Do you feel grounded?
Or do you feel scattered and busy?
Remember that there is no right or wrong.
Good or bad.
Just noticing with awareness.
Noticing with compassion.
With non judgment.
For the last few moments,
I'll invite you to take a look at the day ahead.
Picture in your mind.
The activities and events you're going to do.
Asking yourself how you want to feel during these events as they happen.
Name that feeling.
Notice that feeling within your body.
Notice the emotions coming up.
Notice the image,
The senses,
The location,
The people.
And as you do this visualization,
Notice what happens within the body itself.
Any sensations or emotions that arise.
I'll invite you to take two more rounds of breath.
And when you are ready,
You can gently wiggle the fingertips and the toes.
