Last Saturday I did just that, went amongst trees (look up John Knox tree in Ormiston) the tree is over a 1000 years old. How rooted, yes propped up but your poem reminds me that trees are connected to each other and they look out for each other, just as humanity does. I need to be rooted and firm in my spiritual belief of Gaia, I'm realising as my bardic training shows we return after experiences emerging new, not forgetting or ignoring or betraying the past. It's the latter I was doing after my wife passed though this realm, I was thinking I had to remain the same, John Knox's tree, the community I was with (the props) and your meditation have helped me climb out of the sinking sand onto the opposite bank from that I was pushed off from a year ago last April. During this last year I've sat on lilly pads like in a story for moments of respite, poetry, art, paintings, my druidry, Emily and Ellie, Erica, Tim, Loud poets Jen and Georg these are props all that I need to take with me to this new side to support me. I'm so grateful to these props, Substack and Insight timer and most of all Emily and Isla at the Hospice.

I really enjoyed the simplicity of the softening and letting go of breathing.

From the first vibration of the sweet bell to the last, I felt safe and uplifted by this very good meditation. I especially liked the focus on releasing “intensity”, which I haven’t heard before. I was able to soften and let go. I felt the breath as a miracle.
