My name is Joritzi and I'm so happy to be here and guide you through the following yoga midram meditation,
Especially for parents and kids.
I love to share with my kids my passion for well-being.
I invite you to do the same if you have a passion,
No matter what it is.
Share with them.
Kids are so sensitive to this beautiful energy.
They are always trying to learn everything from us.
I invite you to have a daily connection with your kids and to teach them the greatness of being here and now in the present moment through this yoga Nidra meditation.
This will help you to simply relax and prepare your body for a deep sleep.
You deserve to take this precious time for you and your kids to both slow down and calm your mind and your body.
Please just lay down in a comfortable position.
Be sure to be in a quiet place for all the practice.
When you feel ready,
Just close your eyes and simply follow the sound of my voice.
Just be here and now and be aware of all the sensations of your body.
If you hear sounds outside,
These are just sounds.
If you feel distracted,
Just simply come back to the sound of my voice.
So now please take a deep breath in through your nose,
Like if you are blowing up a balloon in your belly,
And then breath all out through your mouth.
That's perfect.
Let's do it again.
So take a deep breath in through your nose and breath out through your mouth.
Great.
Again,
Take a deep breath in through your nose and breath out through your mouth.
Perfect.
Now you are going to ask every part of your body that I mentioned to focus on it and let it go.
Every time you release,
You let go all your fears,
Your sadness,
And your anger.
So you are going to squeeze your hands as much,
As much as you can.
Squeeze and squeeze.
And now release.
And when you release,
You feel great.
Now let's take a look at your shoulders.
Squeeze and squeeze as much as you can.

And now release your shoulders and you feel good and relaxed.
Now let's take a look at your feet.
Squeeze them as much as you can.

Seeing the number 10 in your head.
And breathe out mentally saying 9.
You are going to keep counting backwards at each inhale and exhale.
If you lose count,
Begin again at 10.
There's no need to rush.
There's no right or wrong way to practice.
Just be here and now.
Please don't get frustrated if you miss a number.
Please be friendly to your mind.
And if it wants to fall asleep or forgets to count,
Don't worry.
That's okay.
And take a break and begin counting again.

Take a look on your hands.
Your arms.
Your bottom.
Your legs.
Your feet.
All your spine.

Your neck.
The top of your head.
Your eyes.

Your throat.
Be aware of all the sensations of your body.
How it feels.
Great.
So now I invite you to share all the wonderful light living within you.
And think of all people in the world that you love.
And just imagine yourself sending them this beautiful golden light living in you.
Spread this golden light.
It can be for example your mom.
Your dad.
Your sister.
Your brother.
Your friends.
Your grandma.
Your grandpa.
Your teachers.
Everyone you know.
And now just think of all these people in the world who could use some extra light in their lives.
And just send it to them.
And now imagine all of the world sending light back to you while you send it to them.
That's beautiful.
So now breathe into your belly and feel that light moving out and coming in.
Feel your belly ballowing out and in.
You are a wonderful and special human being.
The world needs your light.
Now when you feel ready you can slowly move in your body.
You can stretch or jaunt if you feel it.
