Take the first few moments of your practice today just to arrive and center.
How are you showing up today?
Without judgment,
How are you feeling?
Where are your thoughts right now?
What emotions are right on the surface?
As you scan through your physical body,
What do you notice?
Are there any spaces that feel tight or tense?
Spaces where maybe it feels hard to breathe into,
Like you're craving a feeling of openness.
If you do notice any spaces like that within your physical body,
Start to breathe a little bit deeper and see if you can send your breath where you need space.
If you can't feel it physically,
Just imagine that your breath is being sent to this place.
Breathing as deeply and fully as you can in through your nose and then let it out through the mouth.
Recenter and re-arrive.
Simply scan through the body and see if you find any other spaces that feel like they need a deep breath.
If you find one,
Take another deep breath in through the nose and a big sigh out from the mouth.
Continue to bring awareness to your physical body in this way.
Continue to call in spaciousness,
Openness,
Easefulness wherever you need it today.
And allow your breath to be the tool that brings in this feeling,
That allows you to let go,
To lighten just a little bit.
Allowing your exhale to be that release of tension,
That surrender and acceptance of whatever is present in your current landscape.
Within this allowing and this acceptance,
We can find a state of being fully present with whatever we're feeling,
Whatever we're experiencing.
Giving ourselves full permission to show up exactly as we are.
Stay in that place as long as you feel called to.
Until then,
I thank you very much.
