Let's take a mindful moment to set an intention with the help of a positive affirmation.

If you are struggling with self-acceptance,

Self-love or self-esteem,

Then this affirmation may be useful.

Positive affirmations and statements challenge negativity,

Reduce anxiety,

Create a sense of calm and peace,

And can help you cope with stressful emotions.

Remember that brain neurons that fire together,

Wire together,

Which means that you can wire in a new thought or habit with repetition.

Consistent repetition over a period of time then leads to that new thought or habit becoming a part of your personality.

The mind is a fertile garden,

We must feed it wisely.

Let's plant a seed of self-acceptance in our minds.

I love myself just as I am.

I love myself just as I am.

Now,

It doesn't mean you're perfect or flawless.

It means you accept yourself just as you are,

With both your talents and imperfections equally.

I love myself just as I am.

Just as I am.

I love myself just as I am.

It means that you compare yourself to yourself,

To the version you were yesterday or years ago,

Not to other people and especially not to strangers on the internet.

I love myself just as I am.

I love myself just as I am.

It means making peace with any parts of you that you don't like or even hate.

If you can improve or change that part,

Great.

If you cannot or if it's in the past,

You give it up to God,

To the higher power and you love that part anyway,

Just as it is.

I love myself just as I am.

I love myself just as I am.

Notice any resistance that comes up,

And if it does,

Don't fight it,

Just let it be.

I love myself just as I am.

I love myself just as I am.

I love myself just as I am.

Yes,

It means you are trying to be a better person today than you were yesterday,

But right now,

You accept and love yourself just as you are.

You don't need any special beauty products to be lovable.

You don't need any fancy clothing to be lovable.

You don't need a special hairstyle to be lovable.

You can love and accept yourself just as you are,

Because you are enough.

I love myself just as I am.

I love myself just as I am.

May you carry this affirmation with you throughout the day,

And repeat it often,

Either out loud or quietly in your mind.

Remember that brain neurons that fire together,

Wire together.

So repetition is key.
