Welcome to this pain relief meditation.
I'm Dr.
Linda Friedland and I'm delighted to be here with you today,
Accompanied by the intentional music track of Yuval Ron in consultation with Dr.

Close your eyes.
Give yourself permission right now to relax.
This is time for yourself to relieve your pain,
To release your stress and regain your strength to create calm and to relax.
Begin to become aware of your breathing.
Breathe in deeply now through your nose and slowly breathe out through your mouth.
Breathe in through your nose.
Hold it for just a moment and breathe out through your mouth.
Breathe in deeply through your nose.
Breathe out slowly through your mouth.
Continue with this breathing.
Breathing has an enormous power to help relieve your pain,
To regenerate your body,
To heal,
To energize,
To relax your nerves,
Your muscles,
Your joints and your brain.
It stills your mind.
Your breath helps to clear your anxiety,
Calms your emotions.
As you breathe in,
Breathe in fresh,
Clear,
Healing energy.
As you breathe out,
Allow all the pain and tension stored within your body begin to leave you.
With each inhalation,
You are absorbing new,
Calming energy.
With each breath out,
You are releasing pain and tension and all your concerns and worries.
Allow yourself to unwind as if you are unclenching your fist.
Now starting at the top of your head,
Begin to consciously relax the muscles of your body.
Relax your scalp,
Relax your forehead,
Relax the muscles of your face and relax your jaw.
Feel a wave of warm relaxation moving through your arms,
Down into your hands and fingers.
Feel the wave of warmth moving down your back muscles and into your legs,
All the while relaxing and relieving.
Allow your abdomen and stomach muscles to relax so that your breathing deepens.
With each gentle breath you take,
Allow yourself to become more and more relaxed and allow just some of the pain to leave you.
Now we are beginning to use the power of imagery.
Images are powerful mental pictures that connect the pathways from your brain cortex to areas of healing and pain relief.
As you have allowed your muscles to relax,
Allow all the molecules in your body to do their work so the cells in your brain and body can release all the pain relieving,
Feel good chemicals.
You can visualize sending these healing substances to any area of pain within your body right now.
Imagine,
See and feel the warm,
Bright glowing light above your head.
Allow this light to penetrate through your head,
Down your face,
Behind your eyes,
Into your neck and shoulders.
Feel this warm light moving into your chest,
Flowing down your arms until you feel and see the glow all the way to the tips of your fingers.
Let this light wash through your legs,
Down to your feet and toes.
Send this light to any pain in your back or your head or your neck or your joints in your arms and your legs or to any pain in internal organs and tissues.
Allow this light to spread down your spinal cord to every nerve in your body,
Reaching every part of your body that requires and desires this warm,
Healing,
Divine light.
You may begin to feel a heaviness,
A warmth entering you.
As you become more relaxed and a little more comfortable,
You are becoming calmer and more tranquil.
Let this light bring your attention away from any sight of pain.
Allow this warm light flowing through your body to enter your heart,
The source of your life force.
Let it pump this light around your body,
Opening up any blockage and replenishing every part of yourself.
Feel the warmth,
See the light and hear the flow through your body.
Your entire body is now bathed in this light as it surrounds you and fills you in a cocoon of pain relieving,
Healing energy.
Allow yourself to let go fully,
Feel at peace and energized.
Relax completely into this light and you may see and feel many different aspects of this pain relieving,
Healing light.
Blue,
Pink,
Shades of green,
Yellow,
Indigo,
All gentle,
Warm,
Pain relieving rays of light.
Listen to the harmony of the music and allow this harmony to enter your body,
Healing,
Soothing and relieving you.
Let all the natural energy surrounding you,
Together with this healing light and harmony of the music,
Enter your body to relieve your pain and distress and you feel at peace and more comfortable.
Now become aware of your breathing once again.
As you feel the chair,
Cushion or bed against your body,
Stretch and continue to take more deep breaths through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
As we conclude our meditation,
You will feel calmer and more comfortable.
Your breathing will remain smooth and even.
Your thoughts and your mindset will be positive and supportive of your health and well-being.
Know that you can come back to this meditation at any time to lessen any of the pain you might be experiencing.
