This is a one-minute guided meditation designed to help you ground yourself quickly and effectively by getting you to take some slow calm breaths and then getting you to focus mindfully on the sensations at your feet. Use this guided meditation whenever you feel ungrounded.

Transcript

Take a slow breath in through the nose and out through the mouth,

And draw your attention to your feet upon the floor.

Focus on the firmness of the ground,

And the sensations entering your feet.

Wiggle your toes a little bit,

And just notice the new sensations that are arising.

Push your feet down into the floor.

Notice the change.

And now relax your feet,

And notice how it changes once more.

Take another deep,

Slow breath in through the nose and out through the mouth,

Visualizing that you're breathing in calmness,

And breathing out any tension,

Stress,

Or dysregulation in the mind or the body.
