Welcome to this sacred pause.
Breathing into this moment.
Today's invitation is not to do more,
Not to think more,
Not to become more,
But just to breathe into this moment.
So often the mind runs ahead to what's next,
What's missing,
What needs fixing,
But your breath is always here waiting to guide you home.
So pause here for a moment.
Rest in your comfy space,
Warm and cozy.
Gently close your eyes.
Place one hand gently on your heart or just simply rest both hands softly in your lap.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and feel the air fill your chest.
Then exhale slowly letting your shoulders soften,
Your body releasing.
On your next inhale silently say this and on your exhale moment.
Inhale this,
Exhale moment.
Stay for five breaths in your own time.
Inhale this,
Exhale moment.
And once more inhale this,
Exhale moment.
Good.
Pause now and tune into this very moment.
If your thoughts wander that's okay.
You can just return again to your breath,
To your body,
To now.
Resume your natural breathing pattern now.
So this moment doesn't need to be extraordinary.
It just needs your presence.
So may your breath anchor you,
May your heart steady you and may you remember that peace lives here in the simple act of breathing into now,
This present moment.
