Connecting with the inner pearl of wisdom,
Walking meditation,
As you sense the air on your skin,
Notice the qualities,
Whether the air is cool or warm,
If there's a breeze,
Sunshine or clouds.
Be precise with your awareness on what you are feeling as it relates to sensation.
Footfall on the earth,
Arms swinging,
The breath moving in and out of the body,
Not trying to control or shift in any specific way,
But allowing everything to be exactly as it is.
And as you're walking with the breath,
Getting a sense of the heart center,
As you inhale and exhale,
Sensing this pearl as it rests in the center of the chest.
As you inhale the expanse of quality opening out through the chest,
Contracting back down to this pearl in the center of the chest,
Expanding out towards the arms,
The hips and back in toward the center of the chest.
Expanding towards the crown of the head and down the legs,
Towards the soles of the feet,
Towards the fingertips and back in to the center of the chest.
Expanding outward,
Maybe surrounding the body and then back in toward the center of the chest.
Radiating outward in all directions,
Contracting back into this pearl,
Resting in the cave of the heart,
Center of the chest.
Feel the inherent expansive and contractive qualities of breath,
Of prana as this pearl,
Expanding and contracting with every step,
With every breath.
Sense this pearl of wisdom as the knower and the known.
Everything you see,
Feel and experience through this space of wisdom,
The truest part of yourself.
Continue this way as you move through your walk,
Radiating this inner pearl of light,
Radiating this pearl of wisdom outward,
Contracting it back inward,
Letting it rest in the cave of the heart for as long as you like.
And when you've finished your walk,
You'll place your hands on your heart,
Saying a prayer or blessing of gratitude for this inner truth and knowing.
