And today's meditation is brought to you by life,
Paid for by God.
If you find mild frustration leads to intense anger,
Then you might want to stop and check and see if there's something else that's really deep down causing that frustration.
Often we get caught up in thinking,
This person caused my frustration,
Sending that email caused it,
This coworker caused it,
Not having enough money caused it.
But if it leads to an intense anger,
And usually there's something deeper underneath it.
So why don't we go ahead and close our eyes and just bathe in the energy of frustration.
Since you may already have been doing that if you're doing this meditation.
Have you ever bathed in frustration just vibrated in it,
Not knowing what to do with it,
How to let it go.
The first step is to stop punishing yourself or judging yourself for feeling frustrated or invalidated.
Take a few deep breaths.
Relax your shoulders.
Breathe in through your nostrils if you can.
Let your body settle as much as it can settle.
Maybe your body feels really frustrated right now.
Sometimes,
If you're really frustrated,
It's great to actually squeeze all the muscles in your body really tightly,
Squeeze them tightly.
Curse under your breath.
Just start to get a sense of it's okay that you're frustrated.
So first we come out of the energy of judging ourselves for being frustrated.
And then secondly,
We start to become aware of the fact that maybe life created this opportunity for us to become aware of a certain dynamic in ourselves to grow.
So we change the question from why did this happen?
Who did this to me?
Why does this keep happening?
To what can I learn from this?
And what direction is life taking me here to grow?
The universe didn't evolve for 14 billion years to bring humans about to this very moment so you can sit in indefinite frustration,
Vibrate in inadequacy,
And not find your solution or grow.
So take a step back,
Recognize it's all for a reason.
Maybe you don't know what it is yet,
But you're willing to give it space.
And just give yourself some space right now.
If it's the same type of person that always frustrates you in different situations,
The bully,
The invalidator,
The person who messes things up when you're trying to make everything perfect.
If it's the same kind of dynamic with different people,
Then there might be something you need to learn.
Perhaps every time you get frustrated,
You go into judgment of yourself or others.
Or maybe you're just sensitive and when you go into frustration,
That means on a deeper level,
You know something is wrong somewhere,
But you just don't know where or what it is yet.
And you can validate your intuition.
But notice that judgment can't heal judgment.
Invalidation can't heal invalidation.
Frustration can be a sense,
Like you smell something,
Touch something and feel it.
At first,
You just get the energy of frustration.
But if you look deeper,
It's there to show you something,
To bring in information.
So as we accept the frustration,
We go to a deeper level beneath it.
The cause,
The real cause.
And the real cause is never outside of us.
It's always inside of us,
Underneath something.
Perhaps you start to be aware of what that real cause is.
What the real reason for frustration is today.
Maybe you just want everything to work out because you're a good person and you want things to work out for everyone.
So the real cause of your frustration is you have a heart of gold and you want to be able to share it.
Or you're an efficient person,
You like everything to be efficient.
Or you're frustrated because deep down you're sad or mad.
Sometimes we get frustrated because the people around us don't really see us for who we are.
But notice whatever reason it is,
On some level has to do with your growth and your wellbeing.
And ultimately everyone else's wellbeing is when you feel good and you're in a healthy space,
You can contribute to others.
Just notice any of that frustration melting off your body.
Sometimes when I let it go,
Just make a,
Uh,
Comment or say the word frustration.
Be playful with it.
It's about your awareness.
It's about your unfoldment.
It's not about the perceived problem.
If you knew today was your last day on earth,
How big would this frustration be?
Step out of that vibration of seriousness that we all easily walk into.
Make sure you're breathing.
And anywhere you were holding judgments on other people,
Let those go as well.
That freaking person can't believe what they did.
If there is one thing all human beings have in common,
It's that we all make mistakes.
We're all imperfect.
But in that imperfection,
When you bring in a level of self-acceptance,
Self-forgiveness,
Understanding,
Then something deeper inside of you can start to shine.
Perhaps without those experiences,
We would never find the jewels that lie deep inside each of us.
So at the end of this meditation,
I want you to thank that frustration.
Thank it in a way you would thank your eyes for letting you see the sunset.
Without the energy of frustration,
You wouldn't be able to have been led to something deeper inside yourself,
An answer you've been looking for.
And the amazing part about life is it's so complex.
It's so deep.
And the reasons and the purpose of why we're here sometimes is so beyond our ability to comprehend that the best we can do is accept things as they happen,
Let go of any judgment or invalidation or fear,
And continue to open up into our greatest level of potential and give other people space to do that as well.
When you give other people space,
You have space.
And in that space,
We can create.
So as you let go of that frustration,
Know that you can step into that space of creating,
Being a creator.
You're here on this planet to do something,
To learn and to grow.
So thank yourself for sitting,
For meditating,
For being who you are.
When you're ready,
You can slowly stretch and open your eyes.
Thank you for coming to meditate with me.
Enjoy yourself,
And I'll see you next time.
