Welcome to this healing space.
I am your host Pratyansha.
And I'm glad you're here.
I won't ask you to feel better right now.
I won't tell you.
That everything happens for a reason.
I won't rush you.
Towards healing.
Because grief.
.
.
Does not work that way.
And you already know that.
You are here.
Because something or someone is no longer with you.
And that absence.
Has a weight to it.
A specific,
Particular heaviness.
That lives somewhere.
In your chest.
Or your throat.
Or the quiet moments when you forget for a second.
And then remember again.
You don't need to explain it.
You don't need to justify it.
Because grief.
.
.
Is not a problem to be solved.
It is love with nowhere left to go.
So for the next few minutes.
Let's just be with it.
Together.
Let your body find a comfortable position.
Lying down if you can.
Somewhere you feel safe.
Now close your eyes.
And take one breath.
Just one.
Not to calm yourself.
But simply to arrive here.
Inhale.
And?
Exhale.
Notice where you are holding tension.
Maybe your jaw?
Your shoulders.
Your hands.
You have been caring so much.
With your next exhale,
See if you can soften just a little.
Not fix.
Not force.
Just Soften.
Your body has been working so hard.
To hold you together.
Let it rest now.
Even for a little while.
Place one hand on your chest and feel your heartbeat.
It is still here.
You are still here.
Now I want to try something with you.
Usually when grief rises.
Be praised.
We tighten.
Don't be distracted.
We try to outrun it.
At grief.
Is not the enemy.
So this time.
Let's try something different.
As you breathe in.
Just gently notice what is present.
The sadness.
The ache.
The Missing whatever is there.
Don't go looking for it.
Just notice what's already there.
Inhale.
And as you exhale,
Breathe out with it.
Not pushing it away.
Just breathing together with it.
Inhale.
And notice.
And exhale.
Releasing just a fraction.
You're not trying to get rid of your grief.
You're learning to breathe with it.
There is a difference.
Grief breathes too.
It rises.
And it falls.
It does not stay at its peak forever.
Right now,
In this moment.
You are surviving it.
I would like you to take somewhere now.
Somewhere,
That exists only for you.
A place your mind creates.
Just for this moment.
It might be somewhere real.
A childhood home.
A garden?
A beach you loved.
Or somewhere imagined.
Like a forest.
A warm lit room.
Or a place that simply feels safe.
Let an image come.
Don't force it.
Just allow it.
See where you are.
What does the light look like here?
What do you feel beneath your feet or beneath your body?
What sounds exist in this place?
Is it beautifully quiet?
This place holds you.
It has no judgement here.
No expectations.
No timeline for when you should be okay.
Breathe it in.
You're allowed to be exactly as you are.
Broken and whole.
At the same time.
Grieving and still breathing at the same time.
Both things are true.
In the safe place.
I want to invite you.
To think.
In the safe place.
I want to invite you.
To think of what or who you have lost.
It might be painful.
But remember.
You are safe here.
Your body.
Your heartbeat.
Is here with you.
You are with you.
You don't have to say anything out loud.
You just have to hold their picture.
Gently in your mind.
If it's a person.
Let yourself see their face.
Or hear their voice.
Or remember the way they made you feel.
And if there are things left unsaid,
Things you never got to say,
You can see them now.
Silently.
In your heart.
This space holds those words very,
Very safely.
Go ahead.
And say the things in your mind.
That you were not able to.
Know this,
That love does not end when presence does.
What you shared.
What you felt.
What was real between you.
That does not disappear.
It changes form.
But it does not leave.
If you feel tears coming in.
Let them.
Tears are not weakness.
They are the body's way of seeing.
This mattered.
They matter.
You love.
Now imagine a warmth.
Beginning to gather around you.
Not a person.
Not a presence you need to name.
Just the feeling of warmth.
Like sunlight on your back.
Like being wrapped in something soft and safe.
Let it hold you.
You're not grieving alone.
Across this world,
Right now,
There are others sitting with their own losses.
Their own aching absences.
And somehow,
We hold each other.
Even as strangers.
Even in silence.
You are part of something larger than your pain.
Let yourself be held for just a moment longer.
Begin to deepen your breath now.
Slowly.
Feel the ground beneath you.
The weight of your body.
The rise and fall of your chest.
Gently move your fingers.
Your tools.
Take one long breath in.
And a slow exhale.
When you're ready.
Let your eyes open softly.
You came here in grief.
You will leave still carrying it,
But perhaps just a little lighter.
Is the price of love.
And you were brave enough.
To love.
That means something.
You mean something.
Be gentle with yourself today.
And tomorrow.
And for as long as you need.
I'll be here whenever you need to come back.
And so it is.
