Transcript

This meditation is called a tree in the wind and a quiet place outside in nature.

Stand upright,

Close your eyes and begin to locate your breath.

Feel the bright light of the universe from above entering your crown.

Take a moment here allowing the light to fill you up.

Now turn your awareness to the ground.

Feel the texture of the soil support your feet.

Spend some time here as well.

Take some refreshing and renewing inhales and exhales.

Each breath you are grounding yourself further with the earth.

Feel the wind or fresh air move around you.

Maybe your body feels compelled to sway along with this breath of the universe.

You are one with nature like a tree.

Your legs and feet rooted extending deep into the earth providing you balance and connection.

Your torso and spine form a sturdy trunk providing limitless power and strength.

Your arms are the branches that allow you to aim high and achieve your dreams.

Your head is the canopy opening up to the guiding light of the universe providing you insight and growth.

Embrace this new tree form.

If any thoughts come in allow them to be your leaves that gently float away with the wind.

Whenever you have a thought come in just let them go.

Just allow yourself to be one with the earth grounded to the soil swaying with the wind.

Breathe in the light above and recycle what you don't need below.

Take some time here in this tree form.

Allow yourself to really connect.

Let go of the attachments to your human form.

Embrace the tree form.

Open your eyes and return to your human form.

Feel free to bring this calming grounded new flow with you into your day.
