In this guided meditation, you will be guided to deep relaxation by a process called progressive relaxation. It is a way of experiencing the physical body relaxing so that the emotional body can as well. You will be guided to create tension in your muscles and then experience the relaxation of those muscles. This meditation is often used to help induce sleep or for stress management. It is also used in a process called systematic desensitization - a process of managing fears and phobias.
