Hello and welcome to this 5 minute quick calm reset meditation.

It's a simple yet very powerful practice to release tension,

Clear your mind and return you to a place of balance.

Find a comfortable position,

That could be sitting or lying down,

Whichever is the most comfortable for you in this moment.

Now close your eyes gently and let's take a deep breath in.

Hold it for a moment and slowly exhale.

Allow yourself to pause,

This is your time to reset.

Let's begin by syncing your breath with relaxation.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Expanding your lungs fully and hold for a moment.

And now exhale slowly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension.

Again,

Inhale deeply,

Feel your body filling with calm,

Hold it for a second and exhale completely,

Letting go of all that stress.

With each breath imagine a wave of peace washing over you.

Now bring your awareness to your body,

Feel your shoulders soften,

Your jaw relax,

Your hands unclench,

Let go of any remaining tension,

Allowing warm relaxation to flow through your entire body.

You are safe,

You are present and you are at peace.

Now,

Simply observe the stillness around you,

There is nothing to do,

Nothing to change,

Allow yourself to just be.

Imagine a golden light filling your heart,

A soft radiant glow expanding with each and every breath.

Breathe in calmness,

Breathe out all the stress,

All the worry.

Let this light centre and ground you.

As you gently return to this present moment,

Notice now how much lighter and clearer you feel.

Now,

Take a final deep breath in and exhale fully,

And slowly wiggle your fingers and toes,

Bringing movement back to your body.

Now,

When you're ready,

Open up your eyes and carry this peace and this clarity with you into the rest of your day.

You are refreshed,

You are grounded,

You are ready.
