Welcome.

This practice is here to support you in gently releasing the unresolved or misunderstood energies that may still linger in your body,

Your mind,

Or your heart.

The intention is not to push away or out of disrespect,

But to bring peace to your own nervous system so you can feel lighter,

Freer,

And more balanced.

Take a deep breath in and let it go slowly.

Allow your body to soften and know that you are safe in this space.

Imagine yourself standing in a calm,

Quiet place.

The air feels safe and supportive.

Before you,

Notice the presence of someone,

Or even several people,

Who come to mind.

These may be people you know well,

Or people who simply appear in your thoughts from time to time.

They may carry unresolved,

Misunderstood,

Or uncomfortable energies.

Between you and them,

See thin cords or strings,

Sticky,

Stretching out,

Threads of old energy,

Misunderstandings,

Or memories that no longer serve your nervous system or your well-being.

Now,

Notice a pair of large,

Golden scissors resting gently in your hands.

They glow warmly,

Filled with compassion,

Strength,

And peace.

Take a deep breath in,

And with your exhale,

Begin to cut the cords,

One by one.

As each cord is cut,

Say inwardly,

I release what I feel.

I send them off with peace.

I regulate my body and return to balance.

With every snip,

Feel yourself grow lighter,

Calmer,

And more grounded.

Notice your breath deepening,

Your chest softening,

And your body finding its natural rhythm again.

We imagine these cords falling to the ground and just disintegrating into the earth.

Once the cords are gone,

Imagine a waterfall of light as the water pouring down between you and the others,

Or the other person.

At first you can see through it,

But as it grows stronger,

It becomes thicker,

Denser,

And more luminous.

The waterfall becomes a shimmering wall of protection and serenity.

It grows until you can no longer see the other person or the energy on the other side.

This is not separation through anger,

This is release through peace.

You are safe,

You are whole,

And you are free.

Take a deep breath,

Steady breath in,

And exhale fully,

Letting your body know that it is safe to let go.

Rest here in this calm,

Noticing the lightness within you.

When you feel ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the space that you're in,

Wiggling your fingers and your toes.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes and scan the space that you're in.

You may carry this sense of release and peace with you into the rest of your day.

Use this practice whenever you feel you need to cut some energies.
